  1. Asalto Latinoamericano
    by Vórtize
One of those bands that simply oozes ATTITUDE. Fantastic, energetic, always morphing Heavy Metal with fantastic duelling vocals.
  2. Vórtize (2025)
    by Vórtize
  3. Liar's Curse
    by Strange News
  4. Prognostic (demo)
    by Graven Cross
Slow true Finnish doom, 'nuff said. RIYL Rev Bizarre, Wandering Midget, Spiritus Mortis.
  5. Changelings
    by Species
Wild Polish tech thrash with extremely odd vocals. Very cool. RIYL: Voivod, Nuclear Tomb, Watchtower.
  6. Ethereal Blasphemy
    by Angel of Damnation
Angel of Damnation is one of the last of the dying breed of jaunty true doom. Great, bizarre, warbling vocals courtesy the Dawn of Winter/Sacred Steel vocalist; an akimbo and upbeat musical style (think Lamp of Thoth and Hooded Priest) that absolutely embodies the joy of fist bumping and ass shaking. It's pretty darn likely that Angel of Damnation made one of the best albums of 2025 with 'Ethereal Blasphemy'. Truth be told, all their albums are rock solid. Very underrated project.
  7. III
    by Gates of Dawn
  8. The Last Days of Mankind
    by Necrosferatul
The music contained within Necrosferatul is wild, spooky, surf-rock-inspired psychedelic black metal. Expect dulcimer, pedal steel, and ukulele??!?!?!?!! This slaps.
  9. The Burden of I
    by Alicia Cordisco
  10. ENEMY IN MIRRORS
    by Solicitor
  11. Hell Is Our Force and Power
    by Terror Cross
Black metalpunk thrash that's pure f*cking fun. Hell yeah brother.
  12. Ανθρωποβόρος
    by Τέλμα
Intriguing and lurching true doom that grows on you like moss: slow and suffocating. The vocals are classically warbling and odd, and may take some time to appreciate, but once they take root.... perfection. Sounds particularly cool to hear this in Greek.
  13. Neon Cowgirl
    by Tami Neilson
Tami has possibly the best voice in modern pop/country/soul music. Her voice is simply massive and she writes impeccable songs. Very impressed by this record, I didn't think she could surpass 'Kingmaker' but it seems she's done exactly that. WOW.
  14. SCAPULIMANCY
    by Hedonist
Sick Bolt Thrower esque death metal is sick.
  15. Honor & Steel
    by Bronze Hall
Very latter era Bathory inspired, epic and crusty.
  16. Eternal Sorcery
    by ONE OF NINE
Drags you in and demands repeated listens. Excellent black metal.
  17. When The Drugs That Made You Sick Are The Drugs That Make You Better
    by Crippling Alcoholism
As uncomfortable to listen to as its album title suggests. Weird, jarring, grinding industrial punk with touches of Ministry and Jesus Lizard, which then transforms into something else entirely.
  18. Walk The Shadows
    by Lord Vigo
Lord Vigo is one of those bands that have gotten progressively better with each album. They've quietly turned into one of the most interesting heavy metal/doom metal/post punk hybrid bands, and almost NO ONE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO IT! On their newest offering 'Walk the Shadows,' they've thematically diverted from their Blade Runner trilogy. It's a really interesting, enjoyable, strange record.
  19. La Grande Heresie
    by Zeicrydeus
  20. Fires on the Mountainside
    by Fer de Lance
