Petitioners submitted 18 signatures to the city clerk, which was sufficient to trigger the recall. Under Idaho law, in order for a recall to be successful, there must be one more voter in favor of the recall than voted for the officeholder in the last election. In this case, that means 32 voters must be in favor of the recall.[1]
