Pookums is a human child in the Graveyard of the Lower City in Act Three.

Act Three

Pookums speaks with the  Strange Beggar Morbus, who wanders around nearby tombstones. Morbus believes that he is playing hide-and-seek with his dead family under one of them, while the girl tries to explain that his behavior is disrespectful.

If spoken to, Pookums complains that Morbus is not listening to her and calls him stupid. She also says playing in the graveyard is not a bright idea anyway.

Idle banter

Pookums tells off  Morbus for playing hide and seek in a graveyard.

  You're not allowed to play here! It's not respectful.

• Strange Beggar Morbus

  We must play here. This is where they like to hide.

  But it's not allowed. Why are you being stupid?
