Open source licenses provide near-unlimited flexiblity for the users of the source code. However, the problem with most licenses is the same Paradox of Tolerance as with free speech absolutism - by allowing any use, it does nothing to prohibit inherently harmful use. Our work becomes the tools of our own oppression.
