The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer. Firmly rooted in the past (late 60s, 70s), nevertheless with a fresh sound. Guests incude The Tangent's Andy Tillison and Soft Machine's Theo Travis.

Very, very fine again! Jack O’ The Clock continue to deliver their own type of "folky-avant-prog". To read, what I wrote to their albums Repetitions of the Old City I & II might help. ’The Warm, Dark Circus’ has all that plus some impressive moments that somehow remind me of YES’ Relayer (OK, strong drumming with a weak sound, Damon’s voice, not Jon’s). Already at the end of take 1 there's some Squire-ish bass playing. Perhaps even better than those brilliant 3 studio albums before. GET IT.
