Watched: The Beast in Me Season 1 📺
It was okay. No more, no less. A bit too predictable, and it often felt like an “ABC miniseries tutorial” playing out exactly as expected. Not bad, just never surprising.

As a little Swedish fika Sunday tinkering, I decided to make a lightweight version of my Bearming theme for Bear blog. The new BearMin theme shares the same philosophy, good readability and modern standards, but in a leaner format. Happy blogging! 🐻
Day two of the Micro.blog 12 days of winter wonder photo challenge. Today’s word: cozy.
I met this lovely bundle of cuteness while doing a house inspection. One of the great benefits of this line of work is that you get to meet a lot of wonderful pets.
I’m taking part in Micro.blog’s lovely 12 days of winter wonder photo challenge. Today’s word is frost, and this shot is from the south of Stockholm, back in 2023… since frost is nowhere to be seen in this part of Sweden right now, even though we’re neighbors with Santa.
Spotted this handsome gentleman and asked if I could snap a photo. I’m always a bit hesitant to ask when I’m in Sweden, compared to when I’m traveling. Not so much because Swedes are reserved. I guess it just feels a bit too close to home somehow.
Watched: Warfare 🍿
Rewatched it now that it’s on streaming. Still really good, in all its horror and ugliness. What’s most disturbing is how it goes from long, boring waiting to sudden, intense terror. No soundtrack gives it a raw, documentary feel.
Watched: Kite On Ice 🍿
Kite is one of my absolute favorite bands. Not because they’re from Sweden, just like me, but because they’re amazing. I loved this concert film. It was visually stunning, and the music was fantastic, of course.
I’ve also brought back the Micro.blog Photos page on my Bear blog now. It feels nice to have it in place again. I removed it earlier because things got messy when I was working on a public theme. I’ll likely return to that project soon, but for now I’m happy to let it rest a bit.
I’ve redesigned robertbirming.com (or rather, I’m redesigning, because it will never really end) and decided to bring back the Micro.blog Notes section. It feels like a nice extra to have around.
