I did these 6 bookmarks years ago. It's a coven of catgirls!

Content Warning
This is a doodle I did years ago for a website I was working on. I think I might have put this online but abandoned it pretty quickly because I lost interest. Anyway... cute pic, right? Might delete later.

Barbs
This was the first panel of what was meant to be a webcomic. This is the only panel I ever drew... thus no webcomic.

Catgirl Mojo and Mini Rant
A really long time ago I tried to maintain a website called catgirlmojo.com. It didn't last, but it was a fun project.
I used it to post all my anthropomorphic pinup work and a weekly webcomic. But y'know... I am not really cut out for that sort of high maintenance artistic lifestyle. Plus I'm not a furry so I am not dedicated to funny animal art. I just treat it like any other kind of art and do it when the mood strikes.
This was also the era before I started drawing digitally. I have mixed feelings about this.
I absolutely love drawing on my tablet. It's liberating. I don't have to hunch over my paper. I can see what the fuck I'm doing. I don't have to buy art tools. And Jesus fuck have you seen how expensive art tools are these days? Markers I used to buy for $2.99 (expensive then) are closer to $8 now. Holy fuck.
Maybe that's why I'm seeing so many artists doing pencil or ballpoint pen work on Instagram. Or maybe it's just the algorithm clocking me.
Anyhoo. There's a charm to drawing on paper that you can't capture digitally. I miss drawing on paper for that reason. Also... I have no originals to sell from my digital era. I can do prints, sign them, and sell them. But you ain't getting an original because, y'know... it ain't there. /firstworldrant

Catgirl Pot Stirring
Here's a catgirl named Tali. I drew it as a commission years ago. Kinda cool.
Oh... also I guess the title of this post is clickbaity. You expect some pot-stirring! So here goes.
Catgirls rule!!
I mean... if you Google Image search "catgirls" you could spend all day long diving into the subject matter. Not that I've done that. What a silly waste of time!
Who would win in a fight: catgirl or bunnygirl?
NOTE: I usually schedule these posts ahead of time, which I did in this case. But somehow I skipped like a whole week! WTF? No one sent me a strongly worded email asking where the pinup girls went. I'm hurt and vengeful.

Hot For the Attack of the 4x6 Women
Today's theme is 4x6 cat and bunny girls. You are welcome.
This era of my art is hit and miss. Like... what the fuck is going on with the HUGE eyes on Naola, the bunny in that first image? I drew really big eyes at this time. And I still draw big eyes when I don't pay attention. I'm not sure I like it. I'm not sure how it got started.
But I'm also not sure I dislike it. The curse of my life.

Aroora #1
Year ago I really got into this idea of sexy nude furry characters. It was fun. I still enjoy catgirls though I've steered in other directions since then.
Furries?? OMG.
I am fascinated by the furry topic. I'm not "a furry", as it were. But I'm not hostile to the fandom (genre??). I feel sorry for furries who have to deal with some pretty nasty harassment, to be honest. And hey... I've been guilty of making the random furry joke here and there. Because when you think about a grown ass man in a fursuit fucking someone else in a fursuit it's comedy gold. I'm sorry... it just is.
Anyway... catgirls are sexy as fuck. People who sneer at this type of art can basically go fuck themselves. That's all I'm saying.
Shit. I'm not even drinking right now. Just coffee.

Nipples
A nipple is a thingamabob that is on the boob. It is the conduit for milk, which many a newborn has said is quite the bee's knees.
So why are nipples so fucking taboo? I can draw titties all day long, showing the ENTIRE BOOB and put it up on many platforms without incident... as long as I don't include a nipple. I've said it before: isn't this just fucking stupid? We love those nipples so much we can't stand to see 'em.
Here... I'll illustrate why this is kind of stupid. But also... in terms of "why"... I get it. There's a different vibe in the second image below than in the first.
| Completely clothed. |
| Totally naked. |
Something about the stars in place of nipples suggests clothing, which suggests modesty or at least some kind of social and physical barrier between you and her - y'know... thexthually.
But she ain't fooling anyone. We know there's a nipple under each star. Why do we feel different when the stars are removed? And again - I get it. We do feel different without the pasties. I'm not denying that. I'm mostly just curious why it's such a big damn deal for people.
Free the nipple.
For your reading pleasure, here's an article on the topic, for those of you who like to read words. I don't think it's the most well-written piece (right off the bat they use "by" twice in a single sentence and I fucking noticed that shit). But I am hardly in a position to point fingers.
