Il est rare qu'on soit consentant à offrir sa vie pour les cultes : c'est pour ça que les rituels de sacrifices humains impliquent la consommation de drogues ou alcools — les institutions militaires s'en sont d'ailleurs inspirées en temps de guerres. Crawl utilise justement la tromperie avec Rituals : titre et pochette laissent présager doom ou black metal occulte mais le groupe suédois arrache la chair avec un death metal intense aux guitares grasses, comme chez Bloodbath ou Henry Kane. Fou !

Who doesn't know about Rogga and his phenomenal output of swedeath? It has to be acknowledged that he doesn't put out any bad songs and is capable to hold up the tension. Not only that, je eben manages to increase the intensity of his works.

If I forget what I am listening to, I find myself wondering which Florida legend is playing? This is that level of old school goodness. Leper Colony nailed the Morrisound! I also enjoyed the harsh vocals, recalling Obituary as well as NOLA faves Crowbar and Soilent Green.
