I usually don’t comment on the characters because it’s so out of my field of expertise.
But this one is very engaging. The modeling and proportions are top quality.
Very good work.
Now that looks really impressive, especially the hair and getting it to tightly fit through the hair tie for the ponytail, without having stray hairs cut all across it.
Now for the really big question… is she fully rigged for animation or is it just a static pose?

This is DreamWorks 3D movie quality. Actually I think it has a better design than any Dreamworks character. Maybe it’s the perfect human pose that gives that professional look.

I guess that means animating the hair is also a no go, as in re-pose the character and the hair just stays the same or you manually move it if need be for the new pose?

whenever i create a ponytail, i use a second hairemitter that i place inside the hair tie. use a disk with a vertex in the middle so you can easyly control how much the hair spreads out of the tie by moving the middle vertex.
