This is a remarkable and unusual mid-century modern chair. The "bones" are fantastic; however, the “Samarkand” velvet colors have faded in the California sun. It's a crime that the fabric is so worn, but it is a very comfortable chair, so it was lovingly used. It is primarily made with a curved piece, probably bentwood, that goes from arm to arm with a separate back, a clever design, see photo #6. Four pillows are included: two that go by the arms, one for the seat, and one for the back.
