Old cruise ships

In the old days ships coming into port on Saturday morning could make a 180 degree turn in the channel on their own, then dock, disembark passengers. Today they are too big for this maneuver. Taken just after sunrise with an antique Voigtlander camera and no light meter.

BOAT EXCURSIONS: Cruise ships sailed Lake Erie and the other Great Lakes attracting prominent passengers authors Mark Twain, Charles Dickens and Ernest Hemingway.
