We are on week 9 at Less is More and this week was a colour challenge - A touch of Red, my card is a square card, I drew the tail, legs and the beak freehand, the speech balloon and the sentiment was done in Microsoft Publisher, and the red was a button onto which I stuck an eye!

I fell in love with a wonderful card by [URL=http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1744142] KimberlyG [/URL] and decided to CASE it using similar stamps from my own collection. The sentiment is from Trendy Trees and the stems are from Flower Filled. I changed up the paper and colors and the buttons are sewn directly onto the card so they'll stay put. :)

I called a Do Over with my card from yesterday!! I realized, late into the day that the card I made needed to be revamped...my tilted hearts to "make" the sketch were unnecessary...so I straightened them a bit...I still LOVE the idea of this card, just not sure that I executed it too well...but still smiling at the thought of it: THE AFTER: THE BEFORE: Used Papertrey dies, felt and some of the buttons, an Inkadinkado sentiment stamped in Crushed Concord. Liking it better.....but the thought…
