With time and practice, I've gotten more "efficient" Bible Quilting during church. I thought I'd share a recent page I did using the BQ Notes journal. It's vertically oriented and easily held on my lap. Before church I prepped the page with pastel gelatos on the Grandmother's Flower Garden templat

How do you get started? When I'm inspired by a passage of scripture, I choose a #biblequiltjournal template that "fits" my theme and select embellishments that will highlight the main topic. I'd encourage you to experiment with resources you may already have, so you can get started on the process of #biblequilting and gradually identify what supplies might work best for your particular style. Keeping it simple at the beginning will help prevent you from getting overwhelmed by all the possibilities.
