Glaive - A glaive (or glave) is a European polearm, consisting of a single-edged blade on the end of a pole. It is similar to the Japanese naginata, the Chinese guandao, the Korean woldo, and the Russian sovnya. Blade is affixed in a socket-shaft configuration similar to an axe head, rather than having a tang like a sword or naginata. Occasionally, glaive blades were forged with a small hook on the reverse side to better catch riders.

Glaive from the amazingly talented Kyou’s (@ningiou) OC Anamelekh. I fell in love with the design as soon as i saw it and had to model it, the stars in the blade are my favorite part. I have been as fan of Kyou’s art for a really long time and im happy to finally be able to produce some fanart for him. Thanks for givingme permission to model your design.
