A copy of the new boxed set V&A Pattern made its way across my desk, and I couldn’t resist. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is one of the world’s great museums of design, and the book catalogs the patterns from the museum’s collection. This first boxed set is made up of four slim volumes each contains a CD of high resolution images that will provide sources of inspiration along the lines of décor, design, textile, pattern, tone — and of course, color.
