so I typically play a game where I make up dragon shapes in various space images, and finally made something out of the recent, "larger" chandra x image of the black hole. He carries a dead star on his back and his body is streamlined to process all forms of energy to stay alive.

Mythological creatures inhabit a legendary space unlike no other in our minds and hearts. And this mythical creatures list reminds us of how fantastical their lore is.

This critter was sitting on my hard drive for a while, finally got around to rendering up the top view. Some sort of alien winged poison dart frog type creature that has the ability to glide from tree to tree, this guy is a bit smaller than the green variant and also has a thin membrane between his back wings to help glide/maneuver faster to evade predators. Will be doing a more elaborate rendering of the design soon posed on a branch or something so you can see it in a more dynamic view…

Now that the art book for Crash Bandicoot 4 is officially out and available, I can share more of my favorite work from the project! One of the assignments I enjoyed the most was to populate the planet of Bermugula with a variety of ambient and gameplay-specific creatures. I went wild looking for ways to answer the different gameplay asks with creature design and had some of the most fun I've had designing :)
