Squared wedding cakes

This is a cake dummy I made for a bridal expo. The flowers and foliage are gumpaste.

There's no rule that says your wedding cake has to have round tiers. If you're planning a modern wedding or gravitate toward non-traditional details, consider serving a square wedding cake. Here, we share our favorite designs from real weddings to inspire your own big-day dessert.

Here is my first ever wedding cake, delivered yesterday :-) I’m very proud of my sugar roses. The bride and groom topper were supplied by the bride. I have never done a square cake with sharp edges before (only 1 square cake to date anyway)

Very but elegant

This ivory, white and blush wedding cake was covered in lace. Sugar roses completed the design. A five tier fondant covered square wedding cake.
