A Tupperware party of the 1950s. Founded by plastics engineer, Earl Tupper, the company languished until Tupper hired Norman Squires who had developed & brought the "party plan" sales technique to Tupperware. Embraced by super-salesperson Brownie Wise, the company suddenly took off and became a "rage" during the 1950s. Tupperware had grabbed onto key sales ideas which continue to flourish today in social media and multi-level marketing.
