Woman’s ‘oyalı yazma’ (edged headscarf) from the Reşadiye district (eastern part of the Tokat province). Rural style, ca. 1975. The printed fabric is a Tokat (town) product, named ‘içi dolu yazma’ (headscarf with filled inner field); the edging is homemade (in some villages of Reşadiye) and combines a cotton ‘oya’ (Turkish lace) with mica sequins. 'Hasyazma' (scarf), from Keles (a southern district of the Bursa province), ca. 1950-1975. Printed cotton, edged with a small version of the local 'oya' (Turkish lace), which is generally used for women's headscarves.
