My hilarious friend Pat made this cake when she hosted book club. I lucked out when I found the perfect Tom Selleck clipart to accompany the recipe. What's your favorite Tom Selleck movie? As far as I'm concerned, Quigley Down Under is definitely his best movie.

Several years ago, I worked with a dear older lady who always brought this cake to company potluck dinners. It was so popular that she was expected to bring it every time we had a potluck. After a few years, I finally convinced her to share the recipe and I was amazed at how simple it was to make. She always called it "Tom Selleck Cake" (I guess you can draw your own conclusions as to why she did.) Here at the Inspiration Cafe', we simply call it "Gooey Heath Bar Cake". Hope you enjoy it…

On Monday, Tom Selleck celebrated his 79th birthday, and to mark the occasion, his costars from the CBS procedural 'Blue Bloods' helped him celebrate with loving social media tributes and an epic birthday cake.

This rich, creamy and chocolaty dessert definitely isn't for the weak. A little bit of the buttery cookie crust topped with vanilla-chocolate pudding and whipped cream goes a long way.
