1980 Ferrari 512 BB
This 1980 Ferrari 512 BB is one of 929 carbureted examples produced between 1976 and 1981, and it was initially delivered via Pedini Auto in Perugia, Italy. The car was repainted in factory Bianco Polo Park over black lower bodywork in 2015, and the 4.9-liter F102B flat-12 and five-speed manual transaxle were also overhauled at that time. Between 2019 and 2020, the clutch was replaced, and the quad Weber carburetors, ignition system, and fuel system were serviced. Work performed in 2023 involved replacing the timing belt, rebuilding the water pump, and installing electric power steering. The car rides on Cromodora center-lock five-spoke wheels, and cabin appointments include Nero leather upholstery, a Nardi steering wheel, air conditioning, a cassette stereo, and a gated shifter. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2026, this 512 BB is now offered in Paris, France, with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and German registration.

We’re just off of two weeks with two huge events, and there are even more coming up. We can imagine that you, like us, might need to spend some time out of the sun, and to help you reduce your exposure to harmful UV rays, we have concocted this list of the most interesting and unique cars on BaT to keep you inside and in front of your computer, where it’s safe. Today we have a slew of prewar beauties, a golf cart from another galaxy, a ’50s fiberglass father-and-son duo, and our first ever sailboat, to mention just a few of the vehicular curiosities below.
1960 Jaguar XK150 3.8L Drophead Coupe
This 1960 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe underwent a color change to red with a black soft top over black leather as part of a refurbishment completed prior to the current owner’s acquisition in 2020. Subsequent work has involved resealing the 3.8-liter inline-six, adding a PerTronix electronic ignition, fitting a Bell stainless-steel exhaust system, installing Wilwood front disc brakes, and more as detailed below. The car wears Lucas driving lights as well as 16″ knock-off wire wheels and is equipped with dual SU carburetors along with a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission. This 1962 Jaguar XKE Series I roadster was acquired by the selling dealer out of long-term storage in Missouri in 2014. A subsequent bare-metal build was completed in 2026. The car is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six linked to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Fuel-Injected 283-Powered 1958 Chevrolet Delray Deluxe 4-Speed
This 1958 Chevrolet Delray Deluxe two-door sedan left the factory powered by an inline-six and was delivered new to Hennebry Chevrolet of LaGrange, Illinois. It was purchased by its first owner on August 7, 1958, and remained under the care of one family for more than four decades. Refurbishment work in the 1980s and 1990s included installing a replacement frame and body panels. Purchased by the current owner’s husband in 1999, the car was subsequently fitted with a 283ci V8 and Rochester Ramjet fuel injection as well as a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission. Other components include a Centerforce Clutch, an ARP flywheel, and a 4.56:1 PosiTraction rear end. Modified 1976 Ford Bronco 302
This 1976 Ford Bronco underwent a build circa 2010 that involved cutting the fenders, mounting 17″ Pro Comp wheels, lifting the suspension with dual front shocks, and installing fabricated radius arms and a Heim-joint steering system. Power is provided by a replacement 302ci V8 linked to a C4 three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a Dana front axle, and a Ford 9″ rear end. This 1970 Mercury Cougar is one of 2,267 Eliminator models produced for the model year and was manufactured in June 1970 for delivery to Foss Hughes Lincoln-Mercury of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Acquired by the seller in 2002, it was refurbished from 2014 through 2018, with work including a repaint in Competition Orange with black Eliminator stripes and lettering over a refreshed black vinyl interior, the installation of a modified 402ci V8 with a CHI aluminum intake and cylinder heads as well as Holley electronic fuel injection, and MSD ignition. 1993 Cadillac Allante
This 1993 Cadillac Allanté was first registered in California and spent time in Idaho prior to the current owner’s purchase in 2022, and it now shows 88k miles. 1961 Chevrolet Corvette 5-Speed
This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette was purchased by the owner in 2012 and subsequently modified with work that involved the installation of a Jim Meyer independent front suspension system with tubular control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, and front disc brakes as well as Vintage Air climate control and a DeWitts aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan.
