This collection of three reproduction neon signs includes pieces for Lion Oil Company, Red Crown Gasoline, and Shell. Construction consists of porcelain enamel faces supported by metal frames. The Lion Oil Company and Shell signs measure around 48″ wide, and the remaining sign measures about 42″ in diameter. All three are powered by 120-volt circuitry. Acquired by the seller in August 2024, these multi-color neon signs are now offered at no reserve in Abilene, Texas.

The Shell sign is illuminated by red and yellow neon tubing, and the sign measures about 48″ wide by 7″ deep. It weighs approximately 80 pounds.

Red, yellow, green, and white neon tubes illuminate the Lion sign. The”LION” wordmark can illuminate sequentially, flash, or illuminate continuously. Lion Oil Company was established in 1922 and is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee. The sign measures 48″ in diameter by 7″ deep and weighs around 80 pounds.

Red, blue, and white neon fixtures illuminate the face of the Red Crown Gasoline sign. The outline of the crown can flash at various speeds or remain illuminated, and the functionality is discussed in the videos below. The piece measures 42″ in diameter by 7″ deep and weighs about 70 pounds.

Metal framing supports each sign and allows mounting via the attached brackets. The 120-volt power cords exit from the top of each enclosure.
