"It would be one thing if the only people making this determination were employed at the major nonpartisan polling firms and legacy-media organizations that the Trump White House would have you believe are all 'Fake' losers. But some of the most pro-Trump pollsters in the business are coming to similar conclusions, warning of a likely 'disaster' or 'blue wave' in November, administration officials and others in the MAGA elite tell Zeteo."

In studying media, news, and propaganda, there are moments in time when you realize that if things break the wrong way, you're watching events that will live on in infamy in our collective history; this might be one of those moments.

This morning Trump's FBI arrested a sitting Wisconsin County Judge, Hannah Dugan, at the courthouse where she works; as revealed in an unhinged, since-deleted tweet by FBI Director and noted conspiracy crank Kash Patel. Unfortunately, the arrest has since been confirmed via multiple sources, and was discussed on Fox News earlier today by US Attorney General, Pam Bondi.

The government, which is currently being run by a bunch of Christian Nationalist freaks in a cult of personality who're trying to build a white ethnostate, appears to be accusing Dugan of obstructing federal agents (so ICE) by allowing an undocumented immigrant to hide in her chambers and misdirecting the Gestapo goons coming to seize him. If even half of that turns out to be true, I accuse Justice Dugan of being a goddamn hero.

                    commondreams.org/news/judge-ha

'Fascism Getting Turned Up' as Trump FBI Arrests Wisconsin County Judge

"Wisconsin state Rep. Ryan Clancy (D-19) said in a statement Wednesday that "several witnesses report that [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] did not present a warrant before entering the courtroom and it is not clear whether ICE ever possessed or presented a judicial warrant, generally required for agents to access nonpublic spaces like Judge Dugan's chambers."

                    Clancy continued:

I commend Judge Hannah Dugan's defense of due process by preventing ICE from shamefully using her courtroom as an ad hoc holding area for deportations. We cannot have a functional legal system if people are justifiably afraid to show up for legal proceedings, especially when ICE agents have already repeatedly grabbed people off the street in retaliation for speech and free association, without even obtaining the proper warrants.

While the facts in this case are still unfolding, it's clear that actions like Judge Dugan's are what is required for democracy to survive the Trump regime. She used her position of power and privilege to protect someone from an agency that has repeatedly, flagrantly abused its own power. If enough of us act similarly, and strategically, we can stand with our neighbors and build a better world together."

I quoted the part with Rep. Clancy's statement both because I agree with every word of his defense of, and praise for Dugan's actions, but also because I wanted to highlight the part about ICE not having a judicial warrant when they entered Dugan's court. This is an extremely sore point for the fascist right and their mass deportation scheme and they've argued that all branches of the government, including the independent judiciary, should allow them to snatch up migrants with only immigration orders that are much easier to obtain for the Gestapo than judicial warrants are. Obviously many government officials and lawmakers with a conscience refuse to do so, Dugan is clearly one of those that isn't willing to collaborate with a fascist regime's mass deportation scheme, and that's why they're charging her.

Furthermore, I think it's safe to say the Trumpenreich is actively trying to intimidate judges who defy their mass deportation plans, while gearing up for a propaganda war about how courts that won't let them do whatever they like to create a white ethnostate are somehow illegitimate, because of the extremely public show they've made of all this. Patel didn't gleefully tweet the news out by accident, Bondi wasn't just bumming around a Fox News camera when the news broke, and as the article notes standard procedure for charging a judge with obstruction would involve inviting her to "to show up and accept process" - not a highly public FBI arrest at the courthouse. This is another example of the Trump regime employing fascist theater to justify the enforcement of unreality; in this case their supposed right to arrest a Judge for stopping the American Gestapo from caging another undocumented immigrant because *they* didn't have the paperwork to allow them to do so.

The perverse part here is that in an American legal logic twisted towards the needs of a reactionary ruling class and authoritarian principles, it's entirely possible Dugan has committed a crime of some kind here. Be that as it may, the truth is that even if she has, nobody has any right to say Justice Hannah Dugan is guilty. She's not guilty, she might be the only one in the whole damn government who isn't guilty. The guilty people are the fascists hunting down migrants and the greedbag "bipartisan" consensus that built them the fascist police state they're using to do it. If you tell me that Hannah Dugan is guilty, then let me just say now that I don't want to be innocent.

Over the course of both Trump administrations so far, I've always felt that one of the easiest ways to spot the odious fascist inclinations of the regime is to observe the Trumpenreich's malevolent disdain for, and gleeful desire to harshly police, migrant children. No matter how wrong a person is about immigration policy, there's a demarcation of human decency line that should come into play before you decide to take out your nativist authoritarian fantasies on innocent children who're in the United States through no real fault of their own; yet in Trumpworld that line simply doesn't seem to exist.

Take for example the news that Trump's DHS and the ICE Gestapo have been tracking "unaccompanied alien children" with an eye towards deporting or prosecuting them, under the guise of benevolent "wellness checks" and yet another far right conspiracy theory about child trafficking.

                      theguardian.com/us-news/2025/a

Ice seeking out unaccompanied immigrant children to deport or prosecute them

"Although DHS is characterizing the welfare visits as benevolent, an internal Ice document accessed by the National Immigration Project advocacy group and then shared shows Ice is also seeking out children who came into the US alone as immigrants – and their US-based sponsors – for immigration enforcement purposes and/or to pursue criminal prosecutions. The recent operations and document confirm a February report from Reuters, that the Trump administration has directed Ice to track down and deport this group.

Meanwhile, in Donald Trump’s second term, legal services provided to unaccompanied minors have been slashed and funds are not flowing despite court intervention. And the federal agency monitoring unaccompanied immigrant children has begun sharing sensitive data with Ice.

The Ice document shows “ it’s not just about checking in on kids, making sure that they can account for them and that they’re not being exploited”, said Michelle Méndez, the director of legal resources and training for the National Immigration Project. “It shows they have other goals, and the goals are criminalization of the kid or criminalization of the sponsor. It’s backdoor family separation.”

Look, I don't know about you but I definitely remember a time when Americans were up in arms because Trump was separating migrant families in detention and essentially trafficking children to Christian American foster families. So for the Trump regime to be working on a backdoor way to deport unaccompanied migrant children under the guise of fighting a made up reactionary moral panic about stopping "child trafficking" under Joe Biden, is both nauseating and outrageous. I can think of dozens of more appropriate government agencies than DHS and ICE to monitor the welfare of what amount to child refugees, but it's irrelevant because the Trump regime's own internal documents say they picked the Gestapo because they want to deport literal children. I don't know who needs to be told that a government pretending it cares about helping and protecting migrant children while simultaneously slashing all the programs that would actually do that is lying, but clearly that's what's going on here. These people are fucking heartless animals; and I don't mean the kids.

It should also be noted that here again we can observe the same "inversion of purpose" the regime has been using to justify enacting other aspects of its authoritarian Christian Nationalist agenda; for example transforming the Department of Justice's civil rights division into a vehicle for state prosecution of white grievance, or arguing that illegally kidnapping anti-genocide protestors on behalf of our bloodthirsty client state Israel is actually "fighting antisemitism on college campuses," and so forth. I'm sure it amuses Stephen Miller, Trump's unofficial Secretary of Nazi Shit, to no end that he's able to weaponize the language of tolerance and equality to straight up do state-sanctioned white supremacist dictator shit and enforce mass acceptance of the regime's fascist "unreality."

Finally I would encourage folks not to sleep on the fact that ICE's own internal documents are instructing agents to target, um, children with “gang or terrorist ties/activities.” Even setting aside the fact that the regime is implying literal children might be a national security threat or in a nacro-terrorist organization, we already know the Trumpenreich is prepared to accuse anyone they don't particularly like of being in a terrorist gang so they can traffic them to a torture prison in El Salvador without due process. I can't say why the regime wants to mark again, literal children, as narco-terrorists but given the fascist bullshit they're already using that designation to accomplish, I can pretty much guarantee you it won't be anything good.

This outrageous story didn't generate a ton of national attention last week, but as someone from the area where it occurred I think it speaks both to the cruelty of DHS's mass deportation campaign and the inhumane lengths the regime will go to solve the logistical problem presented by trying to detain millions of people in order to deport them.

Rashida Tlaib (D-MI12) is reporting that Customs and Border Protection is snatching people on the Ambassador Bridge and detaining them at a holding facility there that is not designed to be used as a long term jail. As this report indicates, conditions are brutal, several American citizens have been detained for days at a time, and most of the families detained there simply made a wrong turn onto a poorly labeled road.

                        truthout.org/articles/tlaib-cb

Tlaib: CBP Has Detained 200 in Michigan Where People Took Wrong Turn to Canada

"Last month, Tlaib visited an immigrant jail where Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) is holding and “disappearing” people who cross the Ambassador Bridge, in Detroit, a one-way toll road.

Between January 20 and March 21, CBP has detained at least 210 people this way, Tlaib discovered, with over 90 percent of them having crossed the bridge by accident, taking the wrong turn on the road — a mistake frequently made by people living in the area, locals say. Tlaib said in a press conference that advocates in Michigan have long called for better signage and directions around the bridge.

Immigration advocates say that the immigrant jail is not built to hold people long term, and that officers have denied detainees proper medical care, food, and access to legal counsel."

Folks, as someone who has driven in the area and almost ended up on that very same bridge, because of that very same road multiple times, I have no problem at all believing ICE snatched up 210 people in two months at that crossing. The important issue here however is that our white nationalist regime is so desperate to meet Trump's fundamentally racist deportation quotas that they're lying in ambush for migrants who are almost certainly not a danger to public safety, just people who struggle with Detroit's byzantine network of roads.

Furthermore, the fact that CBP is shoving entire families into a small facility designed to temporarily hold people trying to cross the border, speaks to the sheer scale of this ongoing ethnic cleansing operation. The United States already has what most believe to be the largest migrant carceral system in the world, and we're repurposing border jails to lock up whole families in horrifying conditions for as long as twelve days? As the article notes, there's already been one suicide attempt at the jail and while I'd argue that caging brown people for being born on the wrong side of an imaginary line was already a crime against human decency, locking people up in a makeshift dungeon without adequate provisions to hold them is an internationally recognized violation of human rights. The fact that we're basically torturing families for making a wrong turn onto the bridge is just the fascist cherry on top of this cruel and repugnant sundae.

I'm a few days behind on this story because I incorrectly assumed it would go away; which means that now we have to get up to date on Tom "the People Eater" Homan and his threats to arrest elected officials who "obstruct" ICE and Trump's fascist mass deportation campaign. Homan, a man so inarticulate it sounds like his own tongue lives in opposition to the abhorrent shit that comes out of his mouth, is Trump's "Border Czar" - a job that sounds like it should mean he's the head minister for deportations, but mostly appears to involve going on TV to explain why every awful cribbed from the literal Nazis thing Stephen Miller told Trump to do is awesome, and threaten anyone who opposes mass deportations and the fascist apparatus that enables them, including some members of the opposition Democratic Party.

In the wake of the Trump regime's arrest of Wisconsin County Judge Hannah Dugan, the Democratic Governor of that State, Tony Evers issued a fairly milquetoast guideline for state employees on how to interact with federal immigration employees. When Homan was directly asked about Evers and his directive, the Border Czar shot back with a thinly-veiled threat to arrest the Governor of Wisconsin.

Trump border czar makes veiled threat against Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers

"Your comments on the Wisconsin governor sending directives to state agencies to not comply with ICE and actually stop your deportation efforts?" a reporter asked Homan.

"Wait to see what's coming. I meant what I said. You can not support what we're doing, and you can support sanctuary cities if that's what you want to do. But if you cross that line into impediment or knowingly harbor or conceal an illegal alien, that is a felony, and we will treat it as such," Homan said."

Well, that certainly isn't alarming or anything, is it? Furthermore, while you might be forgiven for assuming Trump's goon nazi border pit bull is speaking out of pocket here, this actually isn't the first time in the past thirty days that Homan has directly threatened elected officials in the opposition party with arrest and prosecution.

                          archive.ph/TxzZ8

Trump’s Border Czar Has Chilling Threat for Every Democratic Leader

"Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan said Tuesday that leaders from cities and states with sanctuary policies could expect to face prosecution very soon.

A reporter outside of the White House asked Homan whether he believed that the leaders of sanctuary states and cities should be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and possibly go to prison,” alleging that they’d violated law prohibiting U.S. citizens from transporting, smuggling, or harboring undocumented immigrants.

“Absolutely, and hold tight on that one,” Homan replied. “’Cus it’s coming. It’s coming.”

Sharp-eyed readers will note that as crude and malevolent as Homan clearly is, his word selection is careful here. While this is unquestionably a threat to arrest opposition elected officials who don't help the regime conduct mass deportations, Homan's language does (barely) provide him with plausible deniability based on the "question" of whether or not Evers, or any other official actually *did* illegally impede federal officials or "knowingly harbor" migrants from their grasp. Of course, as we already discovered when the GOP tried to imply AOC hosting a webinar on migrant rights was "illegally impeding" immigration officials, the question of whether or not Evers' guidance does so is itself ridiculous fascist propaganda. The Governor has broken no law, as he recently explained himself.

                          archive.ph/89qgj

'Disgusted' But 'Not Afraid': Wisconsin Governor Rips Arrest Threat From Trump Border Czar

"These threats represent a concerning trajectory in this country," said Evers. "We now have a federal government that will threaten or arrest an elected official—or even everyday American citizens—who have broken no laws, committed no crimes, and done nothing wrong."

"And as disgusted as I am about the continued actions of the Trump administration, I am not afraid," he added. "I have never once been discouraged from doing the right thing, and I will not start today."

At this point anyone who has been reading along with my analysis of fascism in the Trump 2.0 era, should be starting to see the familiar outlines of a regime propaganda op to create a permission gate for fascist repression, in action. Evers has broken no law, but Homan and the rest of the fascist GOP are committed to spreading the propaganda idea that merely informing migrants of their rights is in fact "impeding" federal immigration officers, and "harboring" migrants illegally. I'm pretty sure the idea here isn't to win the legal argument, but to muddy up the waters enough that the American right will broadly support the regime when it does in fact, start arresting its political opposition.

With the heat rising on the Pork Reich because of their migrant trafficking scheme with noted fascist and torture prison operator Nayib Bukele in El Salvador, the regime is apparently looking for new foreign torture gulags to traffic migrants to. Multiple reports have emerged that the Trump regime is on the verge of a deal with Libya to accept "deported" migrants from the United States; this despite, or perhaps because of, the fact that both the UN and the US government's own investigations label Libya as one of the most dangerous places on earth for migrant detainees.

                            theguardian.com/world/2025/may

US planning to deport migrants to Libya despite ‘hellish’ conditions – reports

"Human rights groups condemned the reported plans, noting the country’s poor record on human rights practices and harsh treatment of detainees.

“Migrants have long been trafficked, tortured and ransomed in Libya. The country is in a civil war. It is not a safe place to send anyone,” Sarah Leah Whitson, the executive director of Democracy for the Arab World Now (Dawn), wrote on X.

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick, senior fellow at the American Immigration Council, wrote on the platform alongside a picture of a Libyan detention facility: “Don’t look away. This is what Libya’s migrant detention facilities look like. This is what Trump is doing.”

Reichlin-Melnick added: “Amnesty International called these places a ‘hellscape’ where beatings are common and sexual violence are rampant. There are reports of human trafficking and even slavery.”

Claudia Lodesani, head of programs for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), said the group was “very concerned” about the possible consequences of such a plan, saying reports by media outlets and human rights organisations showed that “Libya is not a safe country for migrants”

Lodesani pointed to a 2023 United Nations report which documented “widespread practices of arbitrary detention, torture, rape and slavery and concluding there were grounds to believe a wide array of crimes against humanity have been committed against migrants in Libya.”

Reports on exactly how this objectively fascist scheme would work are currently sketchy, but given that the Trump regime's modus operandi has been to willfully break the law to violate the rights of migrants before anyone can tell them not to, and then claim what's done is done after the fact, this particular rumor and the lack of denial by the White House is pretty alarming. At this point it seems abundantly clear that the regime considers human rights violations and potentially lethal confinement conditions to be a feature, not a bug, in the places they're trying to send migrants; which tracks with the Pork Reich's discredited and debunked rhetoric about the effectiveness of intentional cruelty towards migrants as a "deterrent" across both of the Klepto Kaiser's administrations.

Unfortunately, we as a society that presumably doesn't want the government to traffic folks guilty of nothing more than a civil immigration violation to foreign torture prisons don't really have time to wait around for the regime to confirm their plans. As the article indicates, some sources claimed the first flights might occur as early as yesterday, so the time for the media and Trump's political opposition to pressure the regime on why it's even considering sending undocumented migrants and asylum seekers to a carceral state where murder, violence, and slavery reportedly awaits them, is right now. Given the response from the media, the judiciary, and society at large to the regime's El Salvador scheme, Trump and DHS officials have to know that they're not legally allowed to traffic abducted migrants to torture prisons in Libya either, so clearly the plan here is to do it fast and let the chips fall where they may; it makes no sense whatsoever to wait around until they actually do it before anyone tries to do anything about it.

The story about the Trump regime's (apparently not so) secret plans to traffic migrants to torture prisons in Libya has taken a dramatic turn for darkly comic reasons. A federal judge has ordered the US government to halt plans to "deport" migrants to Libya and hand over any information related to planning to do so, after detainees reported being told by ICE agents that they would soon be shipped to that country.

                              truthout.org/articles/federal-

Federal Judge Blocks Trump Administration From Deporting Immigrants to Libya

"The injunction placed by U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy states that the Trump administration’s actions would “clearly violate” a previous order he made, violating immigrants’ right to challenge their expulsion to countries other than their homelands.

Murphy also ordered that the U.S. government — which hasn’t formally acknowledged whether or not it is planning to deport people to Libya — hand over any details relating to claims that they are planning such a move, if such details exist.

The immigrants in question are reportedly from the Philippines, Vietnam and Laos, among other countries, according to a report from NBC News. In the legal motion seeking the injunction, lawyers claimed that their clients are being targeted for deportation “without any reasonable fear screening, let alone a fifteen-day window to file a motion to reopen with the immigration court to contest any negative reasonable fear determination.”

I know this is hardly the point of the story, but I remain periodically thankful that all these nazis are such assclowns because the Trump regime would be so much more dangerous if they weren't. Snitched-out by racist braggarts in your own Gestapo is the most "Trump" possible twist to this story, and it'd be grand if for once these peoples' malevolent white supremacy and crass authoritarianism worked on the side of justice and human rights.

Of course the Trump regime continues to neither confirm, nor deny the existence of a plan to traffic migrants illegally and unconstitutionally to torture prisons in Libya, and there's always the possibility that these nazis just ignore the judge's order and dare the courts to do something about it. What they aren't going to be able to do now is replicate their operation to traffic undocumented migrants to a torture prison in El Salvador under the cover of darkness and then claim they had no idea they were breaking the law and violating the constitution. At the end of the day the judge's order is just a slip of paper, but now the scheme is out in the open; Trump's opposition in the media and political classes have no excuse not to go after the regime for this fascist bullshit and demand answers about this clearly criminal plan.

In a breaking story, the Mayor (D) of Newark has been arrested for "trespass" at an ICE detention facility in New Jersey, Delaney Hall. Reports indicate that the Mayor, Ras Baraka was at the facility with other area politicians to conduct oversight at the recently re-opened privately-run detention center after reports of horrifying and inhumane conditions in other ICE facilities operated by GEO Group. Local news outlets are reporting that Baraka and 3 Congressional Democrats attempted to join a scheduled tour of the facility and were denied entry and ordered to vacate the premises by uniformed staff; an argument broke out and Members of Congress were shoved by agents, before multiple officers swarmed and arrested Baraka.

Clearly seeking to get out ahead of the crisis, woefully unqualified interim U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba (yes, that Habba; Trump's discredited former lawyer) took to social media to declare "no one is above the law" and low key threaten Trump's political opposition, while the Department of Homeland Security is now making up wild stories about Congressional Representatives Robert Menendez and Bonnie Watson Coleman storming the facility; even though the entire encounter was captured on camera by news outlets and observers in the parking lot of the facility.

                                commondreams.org/news/mayor-of

'This Is Not Normal': Newark Mayor Ras Baraka Arrested at Contested ICE Detention Facility

"Alina Habba, the interim U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey, said on social media that Baraka "committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon. He has willingly chosen to disregard the law. That will not stand in this state. He has been taken into custody. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW."

Baraka's office told PIX11 that the mayor was taken to an ICE field office at 620 Frelinghuysen Ave. in Newark, adding that "we are actively monitoring and will provide more details as they become available."

The members of Congress explained on social media that they were at the facility to conduct oversight. As Watson Coleman put it: "We're at Delaney Hall, an ICE prison in Newark that opened without permission from the city and in violation of local ordinances. We've heard stories of what it's like in other ICE prisons. We're exercising our oversight authority to see for ourselves."

On one hand you would assume that even the Trump regime isn't stupid enough to try and lie about an incident captured entirely on videotape; on the other hand these are the same people who declared they won a 9-0 SCOTUS ruling against them, argue that the existence of undocumented migrants in America means we're in a literal war that gives the President extraordinary powers, and continue to insist that Donald Trump won the 2020 US presidential election even though he absolutely did not, and that was four and half years ago. Clearly the plan here is to throw up enough bullshit to fire up winger outrage at Democrats "endangering our beloved Gestapo" and hope emotion overrules logic as the regime engages in clear fascist repression of their political opposition.

"DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said that "members of Congress storming into a detention facility goes beyond a bizarre political stunt and puts the safety of our law enforcement agents and detainees at risk. Members of Congress are not above the law and cannot illegally break into detention facilities. Had these members requested a tour, we would have facilitated a tour of the facility. This is an evolving situation."

The department also claimed that "the allegations made by Newark politicians that Delaney does not have the proper permitting are false. We have valid permits, and inspections for plumbing and electricity, and fire codes have been cleared."

This is utterly unhinged nonsense; nobody was trying to "break into" an ICE detention facility and the entire purpose of not informing DHS that they wanted a tour is so that the elected officials could investigate reports of abuse and unsafe conditions at the facility *without* DHS being able to set the scene before they arrive. Everything Baraka and the Congressional Democrats did here is a completely reasonable exercise of their oversight authority during what amounts to a fact-finding mission at local private prison facility contracting with the US government. The fact is that the Trump regime doesn't want the American people or their representatives to see what goes on inside private migrant detention facilities because they know it would outrage public sentiment and expose the regime to legal consequences; that's why the officials were stopped and ordered to leave. When they refused, the Gestapo went to the only thing they know; carceral force. This is fascism in action.

As the Trump regime welcomes 59 (specifically) white South African "refugees" to the United States, most corporate media outlets are (accidentally or otherwise) obfuscating the fascist ideology behind Trump's only asylum exemption by describing the situation as "baffling." The reality however is that in actively favoring and financially supporting white South African migrants while denying all other asylum claims, Trump is governing by nazi conspiracy theory and exposing the white nationalist agenda behind the regime's immigration policies.

                                  truthout.org/articles/trump-is

Trump Is Bending the Refugee Program to Fit His White Nationalist Agenda

"Trump’s executive order prioritizing South Africans under the refugee program is likely due in part to his close relationship with Elon Musk. The billionaire SpaceX CEO grew up in a wealthy family in apartheid-era South Africa and has publicly claimed that white South Africans are persecuted for their race. Peter Thiel, another one of Trump’s far right billionaire backers, also spent years in apartheid South Africa and has praised that system.

But Trump’s fixation on Afrikaners runs deeper than his political allyships: For years, Trump has indirectly platformed the “white genocide” conspiracies of South Africa’s far right. That rhetoric — recently manifested in concrete policies and actions — lays bare the white nationalism at the heart of Trump’s agenda."

If you've been following my other account, you already know I've had some words for the mainstream media coverage of this event, so I'll keep this part brief. The fact that the vast majority of news outlets aren't expressly reporting that Trump is arguing that a years old neonazi conspiracy theory is true when he directly says the US government is intervening because white South Africans are the target of a "genocide" is absolutely fucking outrageous. Simply repeating the racist lies powerful fascists utter and hoping the reader will figure out this is nazi conspiracy shit straight from the front page of Stormfront is not fucking journalism, it's stenography. As the author of this piece demonstrates, a little bit of research exposes that Trump is literally governing by nazi conspiracy theory.

"Fringe panic about a “white genocide” in South Africa gained mainstream prevalence during Trump’s first presidency, when right-wing groups pushed the lie that a string of murders on commercial farms was disproportionately targeting white South Africans. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson helped sensationalize these claims at the time, boosting stories about South African farm attacks alongside inflammatory rhetoric about undocumented immigration in the U.S. and a domestic “fertility crisis.” As many analysts pointed out, Carlson’s favored talking points echoed the “great replacement theory,” the white supremacist myth that white U.S. citizens are being systemically erased by people of color."

As the article points out, the existence of a "white genocide" in post-apartheid South Africa is literally a cracker supremacist conspiracy theory promoted by a racist organization in South Africa; it's not real, far right politicians in the Pig Empire are treating years old, sensationalist white nationalist propaganda (that wasn't believable even in the moment) as if it were the gospel truth, and the whole thing was thrown out of court in South Africa because again, it's a nazi conspiracy theory. Stormfront posters and racist Tucker Carlson conspiracies are now governing White House immigration policy.

Which brings us to the larger, overarching meaning behind this sham "refugee" program; namely that the Trump regime's immigration policies are blatantly white nationalist, and clearly an extension of the administration's fascist quest to support global white supremacy while transforming America into a white ethnostate. If banning asylum claims from countries full of predominantly brown people, while paying real cash money to lure South African migrants and promote a nazi conspiracy theory about post-apartheid "white genocide" didn't prove the point, the contents of Trump's original executive order allowing this fascist bullshit probably should. In denying all aid to South Africa, Trump's order directly railed against reparations-style land redistribution policies, and South Africa's case against Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza; it's not hard to see the white nationalist animus behind these arguments, but when Trump goes a step father and directly supports the "white genocide" nazi conspiracy theory when explaining his policies, we're well past the realm of plausible deniability here. It is not enough for Trump to permanently enshrine white nationalism in American policy, this administration is determined to enforce white supremacy on a global scale.

As far back as the first Trump administration, I was writing about the way the president's absolute power over immigration policy and enforcement, combined with Trump's ethno-nationalist worldview, and ICE's disturbingly broad powers to act as a private army for the executive, ultimately made ICE Trump's literal "Gestapo." I'm old enough to have been for abolishing ICE from its inception as a federal agency back in 2003, but now that we've actually seen what happens when an authoritarian president trying to establish a Christian Nationalist ethnostate gets ahold of a poorly regulated security force full of white nationalists, I think it behooves everyone who isn't a fascist themselves to advocate for abolishing ICE as a matter of personal preservation. If that sounds radical to you, please let me remind you that immigration officials and ICE agents are *already* arresting judges and opposition party politicians on made up "obstruction" and "trespassing" charges to ram through illegal mass deportations without interference from folks who care about things like "the law," or "human rights."

As this excellent article by Mehdi Hasan points out, the need to abolish ICE entirely wasn't always a "radical" left wing position in American politics; as recently as 2018 even "centrist" Democrats like Kirsten Gillibrand and future Democratic Party presidential nominee Kamala Harris were both willing to publicly say the agency needed to be ripped down to the studs and "reimagined." So now that Trump has fully unleashed ICE to behave as his own private Gestapo, where is the Democratic Party on the subject of abolishing ICE today? As Hasan notes, nowhere at all; and that includes progressive firebrands like AOC and Bernie Sanders.

                                    theguardian.com/commentisfree/

Ice has become Trump’s private militia. It must be abolished

"So where are the Dems on this? Why aren’t they calling for an end to a lawless, violent, deadly, institutionally racist, sexually abusive agency, whose employees’ union endorsed Trump for president in both 2016 and 2020, and whose former acting director, Tom Homan, has become this administration’s gung-ho “border czar” and “the face of Trump’s cruelty”, to quote my Zeteo colleague John Harwood?

Forget about talk of “reform”. At this point, there is no way to improve or “fix” Ice. It has to be abolished. Shut down. Scrapped. To quote Gillibrand in 2018, the entirety of immigration enforcement in the United States must be “reimagined”.

Meanwhile, as some Democrats obsess over opinion polls and worry about looking “soft” on the border, the actual experts on authoritarianism are sounding the alarm. The political scientist Lee Morgenbesser has compared Ice to a “secret police” and says the agency “is fast becoming a key piece in the repressive apparatus of American authoritarianism”. Historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat calls Ice the “foot soldiers” of the “fascists”. Even the “anti-woke” libertarians over at Reason magazine say Ice is on a “militaristic mission that effectively turns nonviolent immigrants into fugitives.”

On some level, it's mind-blowing to me that "we should dismantle the fascist regime's cracker supremacist secret police" is a controversial position in American politics, but here we are. I do not comprehend how anyone who has been watching the fascist activities of the Trump regime, and the operational centrality of the War on Terror era DHS (under which ICE operates) security structure to most of that fascist bullshit, can argue that an agency built to enforce American nativisim and "counterterrorism" police state repression, can be reformed somehow. Furthermore, even if it could be separated from the executive branch's far too broad immigration powers to reduce abuse, what would we be reforming it for? To hunt down brown people more "humanely?" That's absolute cracker nonsense, and while I know *why* the Democratic Party accepts that framework (they have rich racist donors who profit from the migrant carceral complex too), that doesn't make it any less nativist, or corrosive to our civil liberties when they do so. Hasan is right, the only politically and morally acceptable position here is "abolish ICE."

Even setting aside how strongly I agree with Hasan's argument, I'd like to note that this article is a wonderful work of evidentiary scholarship; there are no less than 56 source links documenting years worth of American political attitudes about ICE, the agency's numerous authoritarian abuses in the past month of the Trump 2.0 era, and why it's absolutely fair to describe them as Trump's personal (fascist) militia. Anytime you can spit so much truth "Very Serious People TM" don't want to hear that it requires your poor editor to spend an entire evening hunting down reference links, you're doing that work; game recognize game, Mr. Hasan.

So, I just want to do a little bit of follow up work on the story about the Trump admin paying to import 59 white seemingly racist "refugees" while Trump openly promoted a nazi conspiracy theory about the least effective "white genocide" in history, in post-apartheid South Africa.

This short, 10 minute clip from The Majority Report covers a lot of the same factual ground I went over in my post; including a thorough debunking of the numbers behind farm violence the Trump regime (and neo-nazis worldwide) insist is a "white genocide." As it turns out farm violence accounted for 0.2% of all murders during the last year with available figures for South Africa. Furthermore, even the eminent domain/land reclamation argument is horseshit because it's intended to reclaim *unused* land and governments in post-apartheid South Africa have literally never enacted the law to do so; it's no different than US eminent domain law, and so far the government isn't even using it. Finally, Sam Seder points out the absurd racism motivating the decision to rescind protected status from Afghani refugees who often actively aided the United States in a misguided war, while rolling out the red carpet and government funds to attract racist white South Africans who absolutely should not be considered "refugees."

The real reason I'm sharing this clip however is because I think watching it allows you to viscerally *feel* just how much the media is covering up for Trump's nazi bullshit. As you might remember, I was highly critical of corporate media outlets for engaging in acts of translation and "Trump-splaining" that obscured the fact that Der Leader was literally spouting a known nazi conspiracy theory about a nonexistent "white genocide" in South Africa to justify the regime's actions; which are obviously motivated by white nationalist solidarity and a desire to once again invert the language and machinery of what some might call social justice (in this case anti-genocide activism and asylum laws) on its head, to do fascist bullshit. At that time, I was responding to printed accounts of the Trump press conference about the white South Africans arriving, which even at the time I considered poor enough to border on apologia for again, the president spreading a nazi conspiracy theory to justify white nationalist ethnostate bullshit. Well, The Majority Report actually just clipped Trump answering questions directly, and I think it's pretty instructional to hear what the president actually said, and then examine how the media reported it. If you literally only want to hear Trump's repugnant answer, the clip of the president talking starts at 2:10.

When you watch it, you will discover that far from being confused or rambling, Trump's answer is hyper focused and dripping with indignation. He confidently espouses again, a nazi conspiracy theory about nonexistent white genocide in post-apartheid South Africa, and then literally fucking chides the media for not covering his cracker racist conspiracy theory. There was no translation or additional sourcing required here; the president literally trotted out in front of the cameras and acted out a Nick Fuentes podcast segment while spreading outright fascist lies, with little or no pushback from a captured group of media stenographers pretended they were doing journalism. Seeing is believing, and as you watch this I want you to consider for a moment that this is just one Trump tirade, during one press conference, about one (admittedly repugnant) story. If this is how the media reports the president openly embracing a nazi conspiracy theory and chastising the media for not embracing it too, how many other acts of translation and Trump-splaining have they engaged in during his entire time in office? What other unhinged nazi shit is Trump saying that is being reported in the mildest possible terms, by an army of stenographers determined to make Trump make sense to readers even when he's clearly a brainwormed nazi who isn't going to make sense to anyone who isn't also a brainwormed nazi, unless the media essentially lies to make him sound more normal? We've talked a lot about an American establishment collaborating with the fascist Trump regime in far less subtle ways, but this is literally the media helping to normalize nazi conspiracy theories under the guise of "interpreting" a fascist president who requires no interpretation if you just listen to the nazi bullshit that spews out of his mouth.

One of the ways I repeatedly rat myself out as a product of the Reaganite 80's in the Pig Empire is my insistence on comparing modern fascist America to Gen Xer hit films like Robocop, or Starship Troopers. This is of course basic bitch behavior, but I can't help myself and one of the frequent film references I've made to contextualize fascism in the Trump era(s) has been the Arnold Schwarzenegger action movie "The Running Man." It's a delightfully subversive, albeit not particularly intellectually challenging film, and the important detail to our discussion here is that involves forcing a framed military officer to compete for his life in a rigged Gladiator-style gameshow that's the biggest TV hit in a dystopian, near future America. The film has all kinds of messages about class warfare, covert fascism, and collusion between the government and the private sector to suppress the poor and extract wealth from the marginalized; so it's basically confirmed prophecy today. Okay, I kid, but the gamified aspect of the fascist propaganda the regime deployed in the film has been remarkably prescient in our modern, algorithmically-driven fascist society. I'm a big fan of this movie.

And apparently so is Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, America's own "fascist Barbie." Or at least I assume she would be if she ever saw the film after reports have leaked out that DHS is considering, I shit you not, teaming up with a reality TV show producer to create a televised gameshow in which contestants would compete for U.S. citizenship. You must know by now that I couldn't make unhinged nazi shit like this up if I tried; DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin recently confirmed to Huffpost that the show was at least in "the “very beginning stages” of the department’s vetting process and has not been approved or denied."

                                        truthout.org/articles/dhs-is-r

“The Department of Homeland Security receives hundreds of television show pitches a year,” read a statement from DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin, noting that many of the pitches are for documentaries.

Notably, McLaughlin’s statement doesn’t say the pitch has been denied yet, and she has said that she personally thinks the show is “a good idea.”

Citing its own sources, The Daily Mail reported that it “has confirmed that Noem supports the project and wants to proceed” with it.

Several users on social media have described the proposal as being similar to the competition in the “Hunger Games,” the dystopian young adult novel where oppressed children compete in a battle royale to the death for the chance at income for life and special status within society."

Frankly, I've never seen the Hunger Games but there is literally so much horrifying shit about this proposal that is morally, ethically, and I should hope legally wrong that I don't even know where to start. DHS has denied that Noem is even aware of the project, but the Daily Mail contradicts that with their own sources and given that the DHS Secretary has already spent several months turning her own role at the department into a kind of nazi reality TV experiment, I'm inclined to believe the Mail here. Trump is the reality TV president, his administration is stuffed to the gills with television "stars" and right wing extremist "influencers" and transforming the regime's war on migrants into an "entertaining" game show would undoubtedly be an effective, if disgusting and surreal, bit of white nationalist propaganda. I think they're serious about this dystopian racist bullshit, but the regime isn't sure whether or not they can actually get away with such a crass fascist display yet, so they're proceeding with caution.

Of course it goes without saying that it says a lot about your positions on the humanity of migrants and asylum seekers, if you're willing to even consider transforming their struggles with an American immigration system that was white nationalist in nature long before Trump became president, into entertainment and propaganda for the presumably cracker reactionary masses. It also objectively undermines the Trump regime's stated arguments that American citizenship is a precious commodity that must be protected from "undesirables" having access; but this is a government already importing white South African nazis it claims are refugees, and selling off $5M "gold card" visas to any rich prick who wants to pony up the cheddar, so that's basically par for the course at this point. Finally of course, the fact that the Trump regime and its DHS Secretary are actively exploring this deeply unserious, but objectively fascist bullshit, speaks directly to the fact that these nazi assclowns have no fucking business serving in the US government and this regime has repurposed (in so much as it was even required) the American state to promote Christian Nationalism at any and all costs.

The regime is accusing the Congresswoman of assaulting two ICE agents during the lawful oversight visit she conducted on a sketchy, privately-run, recently reopened migrant detention facility called Delaney Hall; the very same visit that resulted in Trump's Gestapo arresting Baraka as part of the regime's attempts to intimidate opposition to their unlawful mass deportation campaign.

'Should Send a Chill Down the Spine of Every American': Trump DOJ Charges New Jersey Democrat

"In a statement, Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba announced the charges against U.S. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.), claiming the lawmaker "assaulted, impeded, and interfered with law enforcement" at GEO Group's Delaney Hall. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) awarded GEO Group a billion-dollar contract earlier this year to detain migrants there, even as the facility faced legal challenges and accusations of abuse.

McIver rejected the charges against her as "purely political," saying that "they mischaracterize and distort my actions" in an attempt to "criminalize and deter legislative oversight."

"We were fulfilling our lawful oversight responsibilities, as members of Congress have done many times before, and our visit should have been peaceful and short," said McIver. "Instead, ICE agents created an unnecessary and unsafe confrontation when they chose to arrest Mayor [Ras] Baraka."

Habba said Monday that her office has agreed to drop the trespassing charge against Baraka, who welcomed the decision while expressing solidarity with McIver."

Okay so I don't know if you remember the post I made about Baraka's arrest, but there are literally a bunch of links to video footage of the confrontation Habba is talking about and needless to say it doesn't show the Congresswoman assaulting anyone, let alone "body-slamming" anyone as at least one DHS official previously claimed. Even the government's own out of context video clip just shows some shoving in a crowd of people trying to protect the Mayor of Newark. In other words the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey is straight up lying about something we can all watch on video. This would of course be more shocking if the world hadn't gotten to know Habba during her time as a defense attorney for Downmarket Mussolini, in which is she routinely spat out easily disprovable lies in court. As an activist I can say from personal experience that this feels an awful lot like the standard bullshit charge cops who just roughed up some protesters press to keep the heat off long enough for the story to go away, and then quietly drop later. You can see that same pattern at work in the "trespass" charges laid against Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, which were ultimately dropped because the regime knows they don't have a leg to stand on when they're under oath.

With all that established however, I think it's important to understand that even if they ultimately drop the charges against McIver, as they did with Baraka, this is still an example of a fascist regime weaponizing the enforcement arm of the state, to target and intimidate their political opposition. Pam Bondi might not love the Justice Department's chances in a court of law, but a message is still being sent to opposition party politicians that if they try to interfere with the unlawful, openly fascist "whitening" of America, security forces will be deployed to stop them. This when combined with the regime's threatening rhetoric, and its day to day attempts to erode the oversight of the judiciary to do blatantly unconstitutional authoritarian bullshit, effectively creates an unstable political environment where opposition to the regime's program, even legal opposition, carries an impossible to properly calculate degree of personal risk to the critic. Whatever your opinion of the Democratic Party happens to be, I think we can all admit that putting their own asses on the line to protect dissidents and critics hasn't exactly been their forte since at least October 7th, 2023; although obviously Baraka, McIver, and Robert Menendez deserve full marks for doing so now.

Finally; I can't prove it, but for a fun thought experiment google up some pictures of Baraka, McIver, and Menendez and tell me if you can think of any obvious reasons a white nationalist government might charge only the two people they did. Yeah, looked about white to me too.

When I first saw headlines about this story, I genuinely thought the media was just taking the bait while yet another Trump regime official "played stupid" under questioning, but seeing is believing; as this short Majority Report segment demonstrations, DHS Secretary (and former Governor of South Dakota) absolutely does not know what the Writ of Habeas Corpus is and what, or even whose rights it protects. Facing down questions during a Senate oversight committee hearing, the DHS Secretary responded to the simple question of "what is habeas corpus" with "habeas corpus is a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country, and suspend their right to" before being cut off by Senator (D-NH) Maggie Hassan, who provided the correct answer. The entire exchange, as well as Noem's responses to further questioning by Senator (D-NJ) Andy Kim have a bizarro-world quality to them that exposes Noem as a deeply unserious and untrustworthy person who absolutely should not be serving in the US government in any capacity whatsoever; I wouldn't trust this lady to run the Easter Egg Roll.

I would however like to note that the things Noem did say, or at least clearly had absorbed by repetition for propaganda purposes, were just as revealing as the things she didn't know and couldn't recite. Analyzing Noem's answers, it's very clear that she was making a propaganda argument to manufacture consent for suspending habeas corpus, and Donald Trump's presumed power to do so; even going so far as to push back against the clearly better informed and more legally knowledgeable Senators questioning her. Listening to the DHS Secretary, it's pretty easy to sketch a rough outline of Stephen Miller's plan to declare Trump can suspend habeas corpus without Congressional approval, under the presumption that said approval will be given retroactively because Abe Lincoln did so one time during the literal Civil War.

Of course none of the regime's arguments for this fascist bullshit are legally valid or make any sense at all. As we've discussed many times already here in this space, America is absolutely not being invaded, by narco-terrorist gangs or otherwise, and I think "we saw too many Mexican-looking people in our neighborhoods" doesn't represent an equivalent public safety "crisis" to that time Lincoln had to stop Confederate soldiers from pillaging Union territories when the South formally seceded and declared war on the US government. Despite this however, the Trump regime is currently working hard to make that argument and win the court of public opinion on this alarming subject for a reason; Kristi Noem might be an ignorant fool, but someone certainly fed her the talking points the administration wants to use to justify suspending habeas corpus, and that should concern us all

This story is a couple of days old, but I want to highlight it briefly because I think it speaks to the stunning myriad of ways the Trump regime is actively looking to claim and consolidate extraordinary, often unconstitutional and blatantly illegal powers in the hands of the executive branch; which for now means the Trump administration. Standing before a three judge appellate court, a Department of Justice lawyer argued with a straight face that Attorney General Pam Bondi had the right to revoke anyone's green card, for any reason, even if they've been legally residing in the country for years.

                                              truthout.org/articles/doj-lawy

DOJ Lawyer Argues AG Pam Bondi Can Revoke a Person’s Green Card at Any Time

"During an appellate court hearing last week, a lawyer for the Trump administration argued that Attorney General Pam Bondi has the authority to revoke a person’s green card at any time, for any reason she sees fit — even if they have lived lawfully in the United States for decades.

Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney Lindsay Murphy made the argument before a three-judge panel of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday in a case involving Mohammad Qatanani, a Palestinian-born Muslim imam who has lived in New Jersey since the mid-1990s."

The article goes on to talk about the details of Qatanani's case, which has been ongoing for years and began anew in 2021 in a scenario that to me, sounds a lot like the US government once again enforcing unrealtiy on behalf of Israel, but your mileage may vary and I can't profess to be intimately familiar with the details of Qatanani's life. What's important to take note of here is that a Trump administration that's already asserting that the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio can unilaterally and instantaneously revoke someone's green card without providing justification under dubious foreign policy concern arguments, are now putting forward the legal position that Trump's fascist DoJ pit bull Pam Bondi can do so, just 'cause. It is of course unclear how legally successful this strategy will be overall, given this case is ongoing and the deportations facilitated by Rubio's actions against Mahmoud Khalil, Rümeysa Öztürk, Mohsen Mahdawi and others are still mired in legal proceedings.

What we do know however is that the Trump regime is desperately searching for a way to legally revoke green cards quickly and without oversight. Furthermore I think we can surmise from the openly nativist, white nationalist nature of Trump's, or perhaps Stephen Miller's immigration policies, that despite the regime's protestations otherwise, the ongoing "whitening" of America project being conducted under the fascist Trump regime is ultimately designed to target legal immigrants as well; and in sufficient enough quantity as to require no oversight whatsoever. Which to anyone who has studied the history of politically-empowered fascist movements, sounds like a recipe for some type of ethnic cleansing.

Folks, I don't know how to say this any clearer, but I'm convinced these guys are basically the Nazis, like with a capital N. This is a fascist regime, stacked to the brim with actual white nationalists, built around a hyper-racist cult of personality surrounding Donald Trump. In just under fourth months, virtually all of these people have shown a horrifying lack of concern for human life in general while exposing their eliminationist worldviews in a staggering number of ways. The regime may not win in court here, but whether its through the budget reconciliation bill, emergency Supreme Court petitions, or public propaganda disseminated on cable news, they are making it clear that the intention is to consolidate all state power in the executive branch; when that happens to a country being run by fascists, you've got yourself a fascist dictatorship. There is no fucking bottom here, no depth too low for these people to sink to, no power too forbidden for them to try to exert. I can't predict the future, but a reasonable understanding of history says that this sort of shit usually ends in mass graves unless the people living under fascist tyranny do something to stop it.

While I think anyone still arguing that the Trump regime is not fundamentally fascist in nature is engaging in one form of motivated reasoning or another, I still believe it's important to remember that this particular fascist movement remains firmly grounded in American historical, ideological, and cultural experiences at its core. Indeed, almost every aspect of Downmarket Mussolini's fascist agenda and the methods by which the regime is attempting to conduct it, has an administrative precedent in US political history; although that precedent will almost always come from the most reactionary and objectively shameful activities our government has ever engaged in. You don't have to take my word for it: Trump regime minions on your TV and Justice Department lawyers in court openly admit as much regularly.

There can be no doubt that Trump minions like Stephen Miller and Pam Bondi, are cribbing from America's white supremacist, anti-labor, anti-civil rights history; with a particular focus on the Second Red Scare, the Nixon administration's war on Civil Rights activists and student protestors, and the Bush administration's War on Terror. This synthesis of reaction, oppression, and executive overreach has allowed the Trump regime to create what many identify as a "new form of McCarthyism" empowered by the legalist logic and nativist, white supremacist sentiments underpinning America's "counterterrorism" apparatus, mass surveillance systems, and the national security state; by freely applying the almost legally meaningless "terrorist" label to protestors, student activists, and undocumented migrants, this administration has sought to render the judiciary and even the entire US Constitution, irrelevant.

Of course, none of this is happening in a vacuum, and a fascist Trump regime seeking to enshrine an executive branch dictatorship is fully aware that civil society will eventually understand what they're doing, and fight back. To prevent this they need a skeleton key to enable the active suppression and criminalization of dissidents, opposition groups, and civil rights activists the fascist right broadly classifies as "the radical left." Unfortunately if recent work to connect the dots in the second Trump era are any indication, the regime has already found that key in legally conflating opposing a genocide, with supporting Hamas; and its doing so by design in yet another scheme brought to you by the architects of Project 2025. If the opening salvos of Trump's war on American civil society can be describes as a "new McCarthyism" then I think it's fair to say that the Heritage Foundation's "Project Esther" can be best understood as the Trump regime's "new COINTELPRO."

Project Esther Is a McCarthy-Era Blueprint for Crushing the American Left

"Mainstream coverage of Project Esther has largely framed the document as an effort to crush the pro-Palestinian movement. It’s important to emphasize, however, that the threat Project Esther poses to the left more broadly is not a byproduct — it’s part of the plan’s core design. The text lays bare the McCarthyist nature of this political moment and underscores the urgent need for the left to mount a multipronged, coalitional defense.

At the center of Project Esther’s crosshairs are the people and organizations it dubs the “Hamas Support Network,” or HSN, though there’s no evidence that the entities it’s targeting actually support Hamas, or that they are even organized in any sort of a network. The playbook proposes a slew of recommendations for dismantling this fictional network, including deporting international students, purging pro-Palestine faculty from educational institutions, defunding organizations, increasing criminalization and promoting social ostracization of people that speak out in support of Palestinian rights. “Within the United States, the HSN receives the indispensable support of a vast network of activists and funders with a much more ambitious, insidious goal — the destruction of capitalism and democracy,” Project Esther claims."

Folks, after four months of watching the Trump regime pretend we're at war with a gang and opposing genocide is "materially supporting terrorism," I think we're past the point of pretending these guys aren't serious about the plans they wrote down and are clearly enacting now that Trump is president. Project Esther is the logical extension of every argument ghouls like Stephen Miller, Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, Tom Homan, and Seb Gorka have been making on your TV for weeks. They want to use FARA and RICO Act prosecutions to dismantle every aspect of organized resistance to Trump's fascist agenda under the guise of fighting "terrorism," and they are being quite clear that they consider opposition to capitalism and the American state to be fair game under that rubric.

One of the peculiar aspects of analyzing America's descent into overt fascism during the second Trump administration is the way frustration with liberal orthodoxy surrounding the effectiveness of "rules and norms" in curtailing governmental abuses of power, and the blatantly unlawful behavior the regime regularly engages in, have worked to tamp down criticism of all the awful things this administration does that are merely morally wrong, while still being entirely legal. Of course it is completely rational to ask why Trump's predecessors in government considered relying on tradition and "norms" to prevent abuses of executive branch power a viable plan in the first place, but that doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't criticize the regime for doing objectively fascist cracker bullshit to punish "enemies" of the white American Volk just because it's not strictly illegal. Take for example ICE's recent habit of occupying courtrooms with immigration agents, and coordinating with government lawyers to allow the detainment and expedited deportation of otherwise law-abiding migrants, effectively without due process.

                                                  theintercept.com/2025/05/21/ic

ICE Agents Are Camped Outside Immigration Courts to Make Arrests

"Reports began circulating on social media on Tuesday that ICE had begun efforts to get cases dismissed that had been pending for less than two years so that the agency could immediately apprehend immigrants and force them into an expedited removal process — effectively side-stepping the typical immigration court process.

“They’re moving to end those cases so they can move forward with a more aggressive form of deportation without the requirement to see a judge or request asylum,” Mackler said. “They’re basically circumventing due process.”

Although it's not clearly explained in this article, what's going on here is that the Trump regime has revived a 2019 policy that allows them to fast track deportations for migrants who can't prove they've been in the United States for loner than two years. This has then been combined with an ICE guidance issued in January that allows agents to conduct operations near courthouses “discreetly,” and active complicity by government attorneys, to create a cruel but effective trap. Migrants, even potential asylum seekers, can show up in court for their immigration cases, watch the government dismiss the charges, and then be detained for expedited deportation by masked Gestapo goons lounging around in the courtroom hallways for that purpose. Or, they can choose to skip the hearing, which will allow for immediate ICE detention and an automatic deportation order. Either way, the Trump regime gets to deport migrants without anything even resembling due process. Furthermore, just in case you think I'm being uncharitable and this is all just an unhappy accident caused by the interaction of shortsighted policy decisions, recent reporting in The Guardian indicates that this police state bullshit is entirely intentional on the part of the US Government.

                                                  theguardian.com/us-news/2025/m

Ice arrests at immigration courts across the US stirring panic: ‘It’s terrifying’

"Three US immigration officials told the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity that government attorneys were given the order to start dismissing cases when they showed up for work on Monday, and were aware that federal agents would then be able to arrest those individuals when they left the courtroom.

In the case of Serrano in Miami, the request for dismissal was delivered by a government attorney who spoke without identifying herself on the record, the Associated Press reported. She refused to provide her name to the AP and quickly exited the courtroom."

Unfortunately, as far as I know and as I alluded to at the top of this post, this "tactic" to help facilitate an obviously white nationalist mass deportation scheme is completely legal. In fact, as this very article notes the Biden regime was using a similar expedited deportation process to rapidly deport migrants who'd been in the United States for less than two weeks, so in a round about way this is yet another example of America's long embrace of foundationally racist, xenophobic, and nativist immigration policies paving the way for Trump, a would-be fascist dictator, to circumvent the law and US constitution to do white nationalist authoritarian repression. Of course Biden wasn't sending masked goon squads full of Proud Boys with an immigration badge to trap migrants actively *trying* to obey US immigration law, and therein lies the rub. Just because America's long embrace of fascism, white supremacy, and police state repression allows Trump to do something, doesn't mean we have to pretend that he should do that thing, or that it's perfectly fine when he does so. This is fascism, legal or otherwise.

Creeping into the fifth month of the second Trump era, I'm starting to identify patterns in how the Pork Reich operates to prosecute the regime's fascist agenda. While it's certainly true that the administration's assault on judicial oversight, civil rights legislation, and efforts to consolidate power in the executive branch are being conducted at blinding speed, there are still a couple of key elements of deception they're relying on to accomplish their odious goals.

First, the majority of written orders from this administration, be they executive orders from the President, or internal guidance and instructions within departments in the government, are written in an intentionally vague manner that allows for a broad interpretation of who the government can target for repression and how. This creates plausible deniability for a Trump regime and larger fascist Republican Party that has no problem openly lying into a camera about what they're trying to do, and seemingly paralyzes a corporate media that remains uncomfortable drawing the obvious broader conclusions brought up by everything Trump and his minions do and say.

The second method of deception deployed by the regime to forward its fascist agenda, is to break up schemes, plots, and proposals that would likely generate a tremendous amount of public outrage, into a number of smaller rules, edicts, or guidelines that when taken together, still accomplish the same level of fascist repression and state targeting. A good example of this process in action can be found in the way the Trump regime has effectively justified a mass surveillance program targeting foreign students and scholars, while simultaneously seizing control of the student visa process at the embassy level to conduct fascist ideological screening away from the prying eyes of critics.

                                                    commondreams.org/news/us-visa-

Trump Administration Orders Pause on All New Student Visa Interviews

"The State Department cable does not specifically state what the expanded social media screening will look for, although it alludes to President Donald Trump's executive orders aimed at combating terrorism and antisemitism.

Trump's January 29 order titled "Additional Measures to Combat Antisemitism" authorizes the deportation of noncitizen students and others who took part in protests against Israel's war on Gaza, which has killed more than 54,000 Palestinians and is the subject of an International Court of Justice genocide case.

Last month, the Department of Homeland Security announced the launch of a task force to surveil immigrants' social media posts, including those of around 1.5 million foreign students, for alleged antisemitism. While DHS did not say how antisemitism would be defined, critics note that the Trump administration has adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance working definition, which conflates opposition to Zionism—the settler-colonial movement for a Jewish homeland in Palestine—with hatred of Jews.

Earlier this year, the State Department also launched a controversial artificial intelligence-powered "catch and revoke" program to cancel the visas of international students deemed supportive of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.

Rubio has invoked Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 to designate for deportation pro-Palestine international students who the government admits committed no crimes."

I think this story is the perfect example of the paint by numbers process Trump is employing to install a fascist dictatorship in America because it touches on both types of deception the regime is employing to do so. The announcement that US embassies would halt student visa interviews in anticipation of a vastly expanded social media screening and vetting process of all foreign student applicants must be understood as part of a larger process by which the regime has established a digital panopticon for foreign students studying and residing in the US; ostensibly to "fight antisemitism" which we know means targeting critics of US foreign policy, Israel's genocide in Gaza, or the Trump regime more broadly. If you're a foreign student on US soil, you're already living under a form of surveillance state fascism and reactionary ideological policing.

Which brings us to the vague wording, and potentially broad applications of this ideological screening. As we've learned to watch for from studying the Heritage Foundation's Project Esther, and the Trump administration's clear adherence to its doctrines, there is nothing in any of the administration's orders targeting dissidents that essentializes being pro-Palestine, or anti-genocide. The regime has already asserted the power to define anything as terrorism, or material support, and even casual criticism as being a threat to US national security, so why would they stop at anti-genocide protestors or foreign students at all for that matter?

After Trump won the 2016 election, a few analysts, mostly on the actual left, immediately noted that Trump was now in possession of a vast federal surveillance panopticon, and if the new President was serious about his openly stated authoritarian fantasies, he had a fully-operational modern police state that would make the Stasi green with envy with which to enforce that agenda. In perhaps one of the few lucky breaks Americans who don't want a fascist dictatorship have caught during Trump's time in politics however, Downmarket Mussolini and his minions weren't clued in to the full range of possibilities the pre-existing American security state's digital panopticon had to offer. Trump is after all an aging billionaire nazi who recently admitted that he probably can't drive the Tesla he bought from his "first buddy" Elon Musk because "everything's computer" now.

Unfortunately in a second Trump era bought into being by not only Musk but other "AI" obsessed billionaire broligarch defense contractors as well, it looks like our luck has run out; fueled by automated systems the Trump regime is already engaging in targeted ideological policing in the government, in our universities, and on our social media platforms. Similar forms of data collection and surveillance technology are being employed to identify and hunt down migrants, critics of America's support for Israel, and anti-genocide activists; with ominous signs Americans with disabilities, and trans people may well be next. At an administrative level, the regime has worked toward routing all government data at every possible level to Trump's Gestapo; the government has forced agencies like the IRS and the Social Security Administration to share data with ICE, and the Justice Department under nazi sycophant Pam Bondi has openly threatened Democrat State and Municipal governments that don't put their law enforcement agencies and surveillance system data at the Department of Homeland Security's disposal as the government conducts a racist, immoral, and almost certainly illegal mass depuration scheme nationwide.

Given this integration of multiple enforcement arms of the government towards objectively white nationalist and unconstitutional programs, a recent report that law enforcement officials across the country are sharing AI-powered license lookups with ICE goons is at once predictable, and yet extremely alarming all the same.

                                                      commondreams.org/news/ice-lice

Report: State and Local Cops Doing License Plate Lookups for ICE

"Data reviewed by 404 Media found that state and local police are using an artificial-intelligence-powered automatic license plate reader (ALPR) system made by Atlanta-based Flock Safety to perform immigration-related lookups and other actions in service of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) investigations, "giving federal law enforcement side-door access to a tool that it currently does not have a formal contract for," according to report authors Jason Koebler and Joseph Cox.

Koebler and Cox found that Flock Safety's ALRP systems are being used in more than 5,000 communities from coast to coast, where law enforcement agencies have conducted over 4,000 lookups "either at the behest of the federal government or as an 'informal' favor to federal law enforcement."

I think it's important to understand the backstory behind Trump's attempts to recruit US police to enact his fascist agenda in order to really grasp what's going on here; otherwise what is a clear step by step program to integrate the larger American police state into Trump's domestic ethno-nationalist ethnic cleansing project, can look like an ad-hoc informal practice between the feds and local muderpigs who broadly share a duty to uphold white supremacy. As the article notes, Trump issued a day one executive order empowering cops to conduct operations traditional reserved for ICE under the direction of DHS, and the regime has encouraged further cooperation from local law enforcement under a provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act; cooperation that has allowed the Gestapo to hover up massive amounts of data about migrants from even designated sanctuary cities.

Finally, the broader context surrounding this story takes us well beyond a question of privacy rights for migrants in America. I have noted in the past that Trump needs to recruit an army for at least two of his clearly identifiable goals; ICE isn't big enough to accomplish mass deportations or police state suppression of Trump's political enemies and its increasingly looking like Pete Hegseth won't be able to deliver the actual army at Der Führer's whim. That makes police the most logical target for collaboration with the regime and the ICE Gestapo, to accomplish those goals. That's why Trump wants to "unleash the police" to enforce martial law, and if this story is any indication, those tendrils of collaboration are growing.

Even as the Trump regime appears poised to ultimately lose a number of cases revolving around instant visa revocations for anti-genocide foreign student protestors, Downmarket Mussolini's purse dog at State, Marco Rubio, is looking to expand the tactic to target Chinese foreign students; and the ominous context of this move suggests to me that we might be in for a bumpy ride if this really is going in the direction I think it's headed.

                                                        commondreams.org/news/china-us

'This Will Hurt Us As Much As It Hurts Them': Trump Admin Says It Will Revoke Visas of Chinese Students

"The U.S. State Department announced on Wednesday that it is working with the Department of Homeland Security to "aggressively revoke" visas that have been issued to Chinese students—sparking a rebuke from China's government and anxiety among Chinese students.

The Trump administration is endeavoring to revoke visas for students that hail from China, "including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields," according to a short statement from the State Department. "We will also revise visa criteria to enhance scrutiny of all future visa applications from the People's Republic of China and Hong Kong."

Even taken at face value, this policy shift is authoritarian, racist, and alarming. The power Rubio is attempting to exert here is about protecting American national security in the event of a crisis on par with an impeding war; it's not intended as a method for the Trump regime to get back at China for criticism over Downmarket Mussolini's unhinged trade policies. Even under the most benign interpretation of Rubio's actions here, this is still Trump repurposing the apparatus of the American state to prosecute his personal grievances.

Of course, we as observers who just watched the Pork Reich use this exact same process to justify kidnapping and attempting to deport foreign student anti-genocide protestors as part of a larger authoritarian plot to use "fighting antisemitism" as a justification for installing a new McCarthyism, have no reason to assume the most benign scenario here. Are we to expect the US government to begin kidnapping Chinese students and shipping them to ICE private detention hellholes now? If that happens, how do you figure the Chinese government is going to feel about it? Regardless of what you think about Palestine and Hamas, they don't have nukes and international economic power; China does. Does anyone know what the phrase "critical fields," means in this context and does it bother you that it's so vague? Are we worried about Chinese students stealing our crappier AI technology or some bullshit? Does it seem rational to anyone who isn't a Sinophobe nazi to kick a hornet's nest like this one, because Trump had some feel bads about social media posts from Chinese officials?

While I wish I could stop there, in a Project Esther world every bit of repressive policy based on foreign relations and winger anticommunism is a possible vector for ideological policing and the elimination of what the nazis classify broadly as "the radical American left" - a group that includes Democrat politicians and apparently, the hosts of The View. The sleight of hand the regime is employing to conflate anti-Zinonism and opposition to a genocide with anti-Americanism and material support for our "enemies," can be just as easily applied to China and a very broad, Bircher definition of "communism." In fact, I'd argue decades of American anticommunist rhetoric would make that application even easier and more effective in the public discourse. If you take a look at what the folks behind the 1776 Commission, and Project 2025 define as "communism" there's an unreasonable argument that anyone advocating for racial, gender, or social equality is a communist. Ditto for folks advocating for regulations on capitalism, labor rights, or even the separation of church and state; the possibilities are pretty endless given what these folks call "communism." From there it's only a short little hop to "China is communism, therefore communism is China" and you've got a whole new application of Project Esther techniques to work with in your quest to crush all political opposition to the Trump regime.

Are these nazis really prepared to repurpose a global trade struggle with China to install a martial law-style police state? Who knows; but if you listen to guys like Stephen Miller talk for about five minutes, you'll realize why I think assuming they *don't* intend to go the full nine yards, is a very bad idea indeed.

Recently there has been a certain amount of pushback in our discourse against those of us on the left who call ICE the Gestapo and demand the immediate abolishment of the Department of Homeland Security that runs it; even in the wake of the Trump regime's ongoing, openly ethno-nationalist mass deportation scheme and the flagrant civil rights violations ICE and by extension DHS are brazenly engaging in, to conduct it. While the position is hardly universal, a significant portion of people in our political and media classes seem to feel more sympathy towards DHS officials and ICE agents being called nazis in public for doing nazi shit, than the mostly-brown, mostly-poor, mostly-undocumented victims of their fascist repression.

The reason for this of course, is the latent white supremacy of American discourse and the Very Serious People TM in our society who conduct it. Behind every argument about "securing the border," or the need for "law and order" that emanates from our ruling classes and the media that serves them, lies the same racialized us-and them logic that fuels Trump's white nationalist administration and its fascist agenda; even if many of the folks making those arguments find the open nazification of US society in pursuit of that "order" appalling.

Yet as the Gestapo begins to creep deeper into American civic life, this distinction between the presumed "us" and the othered "them" is already starting to blur. The Trump regime is arresting judges, mayors, and Congressional representatives now, and it is clear that the fascist order behind this vast deportation machine has an entirely different definition of "us" and "them" than the one espoused, covertly or overtly, by polite society. Doesn't abolishing a DHS that has grown into Trump's private police state goon squad seem more reasonable now that DHS murderpigs are marching into Jerry Nadler's office in New York without a warrant to accuse congressional staffers of "harboring rioters?"

                                                          motherjones.com/politics/2025/

Homeland Security Cops Invade NY Congressman’s Office, Handcuff Aide

"Last month, after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested Newark, N.J., Mayor Ras Baraka outside an immigration detention facility, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official said on CNN that there would “likely be more arrests coming.”

DHS police came close to delivering on that threat this past week when they invaded the Manhattan offices of Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) and briefly handcuffed one of his staffers.

“They’re behaving like fascists,” Nadler told the New York Times in an interview about the incident this weekend. On CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), told host Dana Bash: “I think the administration is clearly trying to intimidate Democrats, in the same way that they’re trying to intimidate the country.”

The incident, first reported by the New York City news site Gothamist, occurred Wednesday after DHS agents accused staffers of “harboring rioters” in their offices, which is located in the same building as a federal immigration courthouse. A partial video of the incident obtained by Gothamist shows one officer handcuffing a crying woman while another Nadler staffer demands that agents provide a warrant before entering."

There will be those who accuse me of overreacting, because as Nadler noted on social media nobody was arrested, and the situation was ultimately deescalated. But an outcome based analysis seems hardly appropriate here given the openly fascist nature of the activities DHS cops were conducting. Storming into a Democrat Congressman's office and roughing up the staff because you think they're harboring dissenters who filmed ICE agents is basically a scene out of a movie about the literal Nazi Party in interwar Germany, and yet it's playing out here in America to little or no broader impact on the social discourse. I'm not exactly the world's biggest Jerry Nadler fan, but the Congressman is absolutely correct when he says this alarming incident is part of a broader pattern playing out across the country.

“If this can happen in a Member of Congress’s office, it can happen to anyone—and it is happening,” Nadler said."

Indeed. Which brings us back to the open question of the hour; how much longer are the American people who aren't open nazis, going to tolerate an expanding fascist police state forcing us all to live out Trump's unhinged vision of a whiter, more violent, and far less free America? This *is* how it happens here my friends; do we intend to let it?

There is something altogether insidious about the way purposely-cultivated, nativist coding in American attitudes about immigration policy work to obscure the ethno-nationalist reality of Trump's mass deportation efforts and broader white nationalist agenda. No matter how many times the Trump regime lets the mask slip and either openly admits or institutes policies that make it clear they also want to harm, expel, or otherwise remove *legal* immigrants who don't fit a particular political and racial archetype, the broader US discourse translates those objectives to "Trump is deporting dangerous, violent, criminal migrants who snuck across the border illegally." It doesn't matter how often ICE arrests a beloved small business owner who has been contributing positively to his community for decades, or DHS deports children who are American citizens in their fanatical quest to expel an undocumented parent, or how often the Trump regime's policies treat refugees, green card holders, and even foreign-born US citizens as "illegal" and "criminal." The overtly racist, authoritarian reality of our immigration policies washes away in a national mantra about "keeping us safe" from "violent criminal migrants" that represent an almost microscopic fraction of the very real people, often guilty of nothing more than a civil violation, these fascist programs and policies affect.

As I've documented repeatedly however, there is a clear and unmistakable ethno-nationalist or nativist pattern to way the Trump regime's overarching "immigration reform" agenda functions. Well, you can add preventing potentially millions of legal immigrants from working in America because they can't get a social security number, to the growing pile of evidence demonstrating the Trump regime's rhetoric about "criminals" and "illegals" is obfuscating an openly nativist political program.

                                                            theguardian.com/us-news/2025/j

Millions of legal immigrants’ lives upended after social security freeze

"The Enumeration Beyond Entry program is an agreement between the Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security, where US Citizenship and Immigration Services would provide social security with information from applicants for work authorization or naturalization.

The program began in 2017 under the first Trump administration.

Without any public notice, on 19 March, the program was halted, affecting millions of immigrants every year and burdening Social Security Administration offices, as those applicants will now have to visit a Social Security Administration office and apply separately to receive a social security number.

Following the freeze, the Trump administration issued a memo on 15 April aimed at preventing undocumented immigrants from receiving social security benefits, but provided no evidence of it being a problem."

So, stop me if you've heard this one before but a Trump regime policy they claim is necessary to stop "illegals" from stealing our social security benefits (that the ruling GOP party is trying to steal itself) actually has nothing in particular to do with preventing fraud and is just a giant "fuck you, go home" to legal immigrants in the United States. I guess they shoulda been South African nazis if they didn't want Stephen Miller and Downmarket Mussolini to harass them, am I right?

Now, you might be tempted to push back on my categorization of this as a nativist administrative maneuver if you take this malicious, but not particularly cancerous-looking policy shift at face value. After all, legal immigrants still *can* get a social security number, they just have to visit an office in person to so. Even setting aside the fact that this still gives the federal government an unwarranted degree over oversight over the lives of folks the US government has already said were fit to be admitted into the country however, this action must be placed in the context of a Trump administration and DOGE project that just slashed the SSA's staffing to the bone, closed a massive number of Social Security offices, and altered this policy without even making a formal announcement of how it would affect legal immigrants. I may not be an unfuckable billionaire ketamine addict who builds cars and rockets that burst into flames randomly, but I'm not dumb enough to believe the Trump administration doesn't *realize* what they're doing here; fucking with legal immigrants is the point, because this entire government doesn't believe anyone who isn't white, Christian, and pro-Trump actually belongs here.

Folks, the purpose of a system is what it actually does; and everything about the Trump regime's fascist immigration policies consistently does nativist bullshit. This isn't about "criminals" or keeping anyone "safe," it's bald-faced racialized nationalism and we must say so, no matter how ingrained pretending otherwise is in American culture.

NBC News reported that the figure represents the most people ever arrested by Ice in a single day.

Hundreds of the people arrested were enrolled in Ice’s alternative to detention program, under which migrants who are awaiting legal status are given background checks to determine they are not a safety risk, then tracked by the government using ankle monitors or smartphone apps.

The record total comes after senior officials over the weekend instructed rank-and-file Ice officers to arrest more people, even without warrants. In May, the White House demanded that Ice arrest 3,000 people a day."

To put it blunting this shit is racist, dystopian, and if it isn't illegal it absolutely fucking should be. If this doesn't make you want to see ghouls like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem punished for crimes against human rights and a supposedly free society, you're probably reading the wrong blog. I'm not sharing this story to make you angry however; I have a greater purpose here.

The backdrop behind this repugnant milestone in what amounts to a type of ethnic cleansing, is the same broader discussion we've been having about ethno-nationalism, regime propaganda about violent migrant criminals, and how the gap between who Trump says he's targeting, and who the Gestapo detains debunks every reason the Trumpenreich has offered for its mass deportation program. Ratcheting up ICE's arrest quota by 300% has made it impossible for even a credulous American establishment to pretend this is about public safety, or removing violent criminals from the country; and the nazi chucklefucks running this cracker nationalist shitshow have admitted as much internally.

"Some of the arrests “appear to be the result of a new Ice tactic”, NBC News reported, in which Ice officials arrest migrants who are enrolled in the alternative to detention program when they arrive at pre-scheduled check-in meetings at Ice offices.

“[With] mass arresting of people on alternatives to detention or at their Ice check-ins or at immigration court hearings, the dragnet is so wide that there’s no possible valid argument that could be made that these individuals are all dangerous,” Atenas Burrola Estrada, an attorney with the Amica Center for Immigrant Rights, told NBC News.

The Guardian reported that on Saturday senior Ice officials urged officers to “turn the creative knob up to 11” when it comes to enforcement, including by arresting undocumented people whom officials may happen to encounter – here termed “collaterals” – while serving arrest warrants for others."

This is of course in addition to unconfirmed reports that Stephen Miller himself yelled at DHS officials last week to demand the Gestapo stop focusing on just "criminal" migrants; which if true, makes it abundantly clear that the regime understands the rhetorical two-step they're playing here as part of a broader project to whiten US population demographics. Folks we're arresting asylum seekers reporting for monitoring, refugees who just lost protected status by Presidential fiat, and migrant mothers with American citizen infants; nothing about this has anything to do with fighting "crime" or keeping anyone "safe." It could not be any clearer that when this regime says "criminal" they mean "undocumented" and when they say they're acting to keep the public safe, they mean "from brown people existing at all."

And given that this is so obvious, why is anyone still pretending otherwise? The Trump regime's mass deportation scheme is very clearly a type of ethnic cleansing project designed to produce a whiter America and it's probably only a matter of time before some nazi figures out bullets are cheaper than airplane rides. At what point are we as a nation going to accept that this is how the Third Reich and the horrors of the Holocaust happened, and collectively stop pretending this is immigration policy? I hope the answer is soon, because it does no good to realize the truth after we're digging up mass graves.

As the gravity of the Trumpenreich's attempted invasion of LA, the Swine Emperor's birthday boy military parade, and the regime's seemingly vociferous support for Israel's attack on Iran dominate the American discourse, I'd like to take a look at a story about the regime's attempts to deport anti-genocide activists and scholars, that got lost in the shuffle of larger spectacles in our news cycle. While this June 7th Intercept article by Jonah Valdez is centered around government attorney actions in one lawsuit, I think the behavior on display here actually says quite a lot about the regime's intention to discourage, criminalize, and punish anti-genocide speech or ideological opposition to Trump's pro-Israel policies going forward.

                                                                theintercept.com/2025/06/07/ic

ICE Won’t Rule Out Retaliating Against Immigrants Who Testify in Free Speech Case

"As attorneys for the scholars prepared to file a motion to protect their witnesses — many of whom are in the country under green cards or visas — from being detained or deported for testifying during trial, government attorneys refused to agree to such safeguards, according to recent legal filings in the case.

In their refusal, government attorneys said that their clients, which include the Department of Homeland Security as well as Immigration and Customs Enforcement, “did not want to be bound by an agreement preventing them from taking action against individuals whose identities they did not know yet,” the filings said.

When the scholars’ attorneys clarified that the motion would only protect witnesses from being targeted for participating in the case, attorneys for DHS and ICE doubled down in their opposition to the protection and challenged them to instead have the judge decide whether to grant the order."

The backdrop here is that the American Association of University Professors filed a lawsuit against the government for its clearly-illegal targeting of anti-genocide student protestors and scholars, shortly after the regime kidnapped and attempted to deport Mahmoud Khalil (among others), a legal permanent resident, for exercising his constitutionally-protected free speech rights during anti-genocide protests at Columbia University. Naturally, because some of the people who would testify in a case like that are going to be pro-Palestine students and scholars who're the intended targets of Trump's fascist ideological policing, lawyers sought assurances that their clients wouldn't be targeted by ICE or the State Department, either for, or during their testimony. This should be a mere formality in a case centered around civil rights and the limits of state enforcement power like this, after all.

Of course, and perhaps to the surprise of no one, DHS and ICE lawyers refused to provide those assurances. What's more, they declined a second time even after the plaintiff's attorneys made it clear the immunity they were seeking was related entirely to the act of testifying against the government in a legal setting. This then ultimately lead to the motion this story is primarily about.

“Noncitizen witnesses contacted by counsel have expressed concern that, if they testify at trial or are otherwise identified in connection with this case, Defendants will retaliate against them by arresting, detaining, or deporting them, denying them reentry into the United States, revoking their visas, adjusting their legal permanent resident status, or denying their pending or future naturalization applications,” the motion read.

Look, I don't want to suggest that this isn't bog standard Trumpenreich petty vindictiveness and racism, because the government's behavior here certainly is those things. But this lawsuit challenges not only the government's kidnapping and attempted deportation of foreign scholars and student protestors who speak out against a US-backed genocide being conducted by Israel in Gaza, but also the rapidly-expanding immigrant surveillance panopticon the regime is still constructing; even as cases against all this fascist ideological policing continue to successfully make their way through the courts. The regime has a lot of its militarized police state plans hinging on this case, and cases like it, so they're comfortable with openly intimidating witnesses with the threat of federal reprisal; and they don't seem to care if anyone, including judges, knows it.

Analysis isn't prophecy, but if I were a gambling woman I'd bet that the regime has plans to expand its protestor kidnapping program no matter what the outcome of the case against Khalil (and others) turns out to be.

                                                                  [?]AnarchoNinaAnalyzes » 🌐

At this point, we've now watched so many elected Democrat officials arrested or detained by regime-loyal security forces for nonviolently opposing Trump's fascist mass deportation project, that I could probably transform posts like this into a form letter. In case you hadn't heard, the Gestapo arrested NYC Comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander on Tuesday, and briefly attempted to charge him with obstruction and assaulting a federal agent. Would you be surprised to learn that the Gestapo lied and Lander, a vaguely-progressive Democrat didn't assault anyone, it's unclear if he was even breaking a law, and the entire incident was captured on video? Well after the last three times the Gestapo or Trumenreich representatives lied about filmed political intimidation tactics against Democratic Mayor Ras Baraka, Democratic Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, or Democratic US Senator Alex Padilla, you probably shouldn't be.

                                                                  commondreams.org/news/nyc-ice-

'This Is Fascism': NYC Comptroller Brad Lander Arrested by ICE at an Immigration Court

"A video shared on Lander's nongovernment X account shows him holding on to a man and asking multiple times for officials to furnish a warrant. "I will let go when you show me the judicial warrant," Lander says in the video.

Lander is then separated from the man and pushed toward a wall and handcuffed. "You don't have the authority to arrest U.S. citizens," Lander says in the video. The video shows Lander then being escorted into an elevator."

As I alluded to at the top of this post, Lander has been released from custody, and the charges against him have been dropped. Apparently not even a crooked fascist Attorney General like Pam Bondi wants to argue that ICE agents manhandling a NYC Comptroller on film is actually assault *against* the Gestapo. It is however important to ask here if, had what I can only describe as the assault and confinement of Brad Lander not been captured on film, would the regime have continued to insist he assaulted an ICE pig? Who knows, but given how bullshit the charge was in the first place, I'm not willing to bet against it.

Now, there are those who will argue that Lander isn't legally in the right to have tried to warrant-check the Gestapo, because the law allows ICE pigs to kidnap migrants in public places without one, and Trump's unhinged DHS Secretary Kristi Noem has ended what was only a guideline to not consider courthouses a valid place to abduct brown people for (potentially) not having papers. This is unfortunately true, but there is a vast discrepancy between asking to see a judicial warrant because you don't understand our recently-altered fascist immigration guidelines, and accusations that refusing to let go of someone the Gestapo wanted to kidnap, amounts to assaulting a federal officer. Furthermore, there is a difference between legally right, and morally right; I'd be willing to wager that not one person who has ever cast a vote for Brad Lander at any level of government cares that nazi games of Simon Says allow the Gestapo to do this, and they almost certainly support Lander's opposition to Trump's mass deportation tactics, and the Comptroller's willingness to put his body on the line to try and stop this nazi bullshit. Regardless of what Noem's guidelines say, everyone who isn't a literal fucking fascist knows that Brad Lander is not the criminal in this story.

So all's well that ends well? Absolutely not. As I've discussed in the past, the fascist Trumpenreich regime is actively working to criminalize its political opposition, and acclimatize the American public to images of Democratic officials being led away in handcuffs for opposing the mighty God Emperor Trump or his fascist agenda. This isn't about conviction rates, or whether or not any of these cases go to trial; although I should point out that the absurd assault charges against Rep. LaMonica McIver are still outstanding. This is about sending a message to both Democrat politicians opposing the fascist mass deportation program, and the American people, and that message is "do not cross the Swine Emperor, and anyone who does is definitely a criminal."

A fascist dictatorship is not birthed from even a faux democracy like ours overnight. There is an installation process that involves acclimatizing the people to the logic and methodology of your authoritarian rule in advance, before you finally pull the string and shatter even the illusion of democracy. The Trump regime is clearly making a grand spectacle of slapping their Democrat opponents in handcuffs as part of that acclimatization process. And in that regard, they got what they wanted the moment the cuffs were slapped on Lander, even if everyone watching at home already knew the charges were bullshit.

                                                                    [?]AnarchoNinaAnalyzes » 🌐

Over the past couple of months I've written a lot about the rapid expansion of the already-formidable American surveillance state under Trump. Unfortunately, because the regime has cloaked this alarming and extremely dangerous expansion of the police state panopticon primarily inside the machinations of its immigration policies and mass deportation schemes, the vast majority of Very Serious People TM in our discourse are not properly assessing the danger this represents. Some might call that "ubiquitous US white supremacy in action," and those people would be absolutely correct. It is also however, extremely shortsighted because as I've noted many times, a dystopian panopticon police state for migrants, is a dystopian panopticon police state for everyone if the government wants it to be; and I think it's safe to say that Trump indeed desires as much.

To get a better idea of the scope of the problem I've been talking about, let's take a look at this Truthout article from last week.

                                                                    truthout.org/articles/trump-is

Trump Is Rapidly Expanding the Surveillance State as Protests Grow

"While mainstream media has framed the issue in terms of surveillance of immigrants, data on all Americans is being sucked into a growing digital dragnet. Guariglia and other privacy advocates are sounding the alarm over efforts by the Trump administration and its Silicon Alley partners to consolidate personal data on millions of people at the Social Security Administration and other federal agencies. As law enforcement increasingly turns to private companies to buy data instead of asking courts for search warrants, a data broker owned by major airlines has sold customer flight records and personal information to Customs and Border Patrol, according to an investigation by 404 Media.

“You are seeing that federal agents working under this current administration are very openly using surveillance technologies to trump our free speech, to completely violate our privacy, and not even giving personal privacy consideration anymore,” Tse said. “That is the thing that I am seeing that is new.”

I think to a degree it's still very hard for Americans, even cynical Americans raised in a post 9/11, post-Snowden leaks counterterrorism environment, to understand the degree to which technologies like facial recognition software, and so-called "AI" have supercharged a US state panopticon that is now more or less completely under the control of Swine Emperor Trump and his executive branch nazis. Furthermore, agencies like ICE, DHS, and the larger counterterrorism apparatus entwined throughout agencies like the FBI, and NSA, simply do not have the same level of oversight as even notoriously unsupervised local police forces because this entire police state panopticon was installed under the guise of fighting terrorism, which is more or less the President and the executive branch's purview in US government. These factors have always made the War on Terror panopticon a civil rights nightmare that has lead to numerous abuses by the Bush, Obama, and Biden governments over time; which is part of why giving that same panopticon "counterterrorism" police state to a guy like Trump, who thinks disagreeing with him publicly is tantamount to treason, or supporting terrorism, is an existential crisis in its own right.

Look folks, I know it isn't exactly news in the year 2025 that the government is spying on you, and we've even talked about some of the ways its doing so already. But you have to understand the sheer scope of what the Trump regime is doing here, and what AI-enabled oppression is going to look like. We're talking about the ability to integrate literally every aspect of your data and living footprint into one all seeing master computer that makes the punchcards they used to conduct the Holocaust in Germany look quaint. That means DNA, Healthcare data, traffic cameras, tax information, real time tracking technology, full identity theft folders from private data brokers, SSA and tax data, and so on; this is some actual Minority Report shit now. No matter how passé you thinking privacy rights discussions have become after Snowden's leaks, I cannot stress enough that this is a devil many orders of magnitude more dangerous than the police state we were dealing with a mere 6-8 years ago.

Which of course brings us back to a Trump regime arguing, in court, that being anti-genocide and pro-Palestine is a threat to national security, interfering with racialized Gestapo kidnappings is materially supporting terrorists, and nonviolent protests are actually an insurrection. It does not take a genius to look at the regime's ongoing war on both dissent and a broadly defined American left, as exemplified by Project Esther, and realize that the rapidly expanding "migrant" panopticon is also a rapidly expanding "anyone Trump doesn't like" panopticon.

                                                                      [?]AnarchoNinaAnalyzes » 🌐

One of the perverse things about watching the Trumpenreich's white supremacist ethnic cleansing operation in action, is the way heinous outrages like Gestapo kidnapping raids in American cities, or the government's ongoing attempts to illegally traffic undocumented migrants to foreign concentration camps, have a habit of drowning out all the less dramatic, but ultimately still disastrous bureaucratic procedures the regime is undertaking to make life hell for (mostly) racialized migrants who are often guilty of nothing more than a civil violation. Take for example the recent news out of the Department of Justice that Pam Bondi, a woman who should in prison instead of the Attorney General's office, wants to immediately and without warning, begin fining often extremely poor and marginalized migrants up to a thousand dollars a day for being in the country "illegally." Of course, the fines can be waived, but only if migrants expose themselves to the watchful eye of Trump's mass deportation panoptical for all time, by using the Customs and Border Protection's CBP Home app to self-deport.

                                                                      independent.co.uk/news/world/a

Trump administration wants to fine those illegally in the US $1,000 per day until they leave

"The rule proposed by Attorney Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice and Secretary Kristi Noem’s Department of Homeland Security allows the government to begin fining individuals in the U.S. illegally immediately, up to $1,000 per day.

“DHS believes that the nature of the failure-to-depart and unlawful entry penalties supports the need for more streamlined procedures,” the proposed rule says.

The new process will apply to individuals who enter the U.S. illegally, fail to comply with final orders of removal, or do not comply with a judge's voluntary departure order while in the U.S."

Now, to some degree whether or not this story is going to outrage you probably comes down to whether or not you believe it should even be possible for a human being to be "illegal" or if undocumented people being in the United States is really a problem that requires establishing an overt fascist police state to control. As a "no-borders" labor class socialist who knows the greatest trick of neoliberalism was allowing capital to ignore borders while binding exploitable labor with those borders, I'd say "nope" and "politely take your cracker ass someplace else" to those who disagree. Furthermore, even if you do support strict immigration enforcement measures despite the obvious underlying ethno-nationalist ideology that entails, everything about "making life so terrible for overwhelmingly law-abiding migrants in America that they self deport" is obviously about furthering the Trump regime's ethnic cleansing project to whiten American demographics, and clearly has sweet fuck all to do with public safety. So, this is cruel and racist bullshit, full stop.

As awful as all of this is already however, I think it would be a very bad idea to sleep on the reality that this is not just any ole racist American executive branch instituting and enforcing this policy. This is a white supremacist, ethnonationalist Trumpenreich regime that has already demonstrated sheer delight at the prospect of punishing racialized migrants for existing, and lacks any sense of human decency or commitment to human rights laws whatsoever. This administration has already worked to revoke student visas based on the whims of the Secretary of State, argued that constitutionally protected protest is a crime and all criminals should be deported, and is even working to grant itself the power to denaturalize US citizens for what it nebulously defines as "fraud." One could easily see a scenario where the Pork Reich unilaterally revokes someone's "papers" and then immediately starts piling up fines for noncompliance on a deportation order they don't even realize could ever happen to them. You might say to yourself "well its only money" but I don't think anyone can credibly argue that a Trump regime actively reveling in cruelty towards, and hatred of primarily nonwhite immigrants wouldn't prefer to deport AND bankrupt their perceived political and racial enemies at the same time, over an either or scenario.

I understand that given the sheer volume of horrible fascist shit the Trump regime is doing right now, it can be difficult to keep up with all the specific ways they're transforming the United States into essentially the Fourth Reich. Even acknowledging that however, I'm having a hard time understanding why the Trump Regime's machinations to establish a globalized network of concentration camps in countries not subject to American law, isn't a much bigger story; particularly given the alarming implications of that activity and the fact that the Supreme Court just greenlit the Trump regime's blatantly illegal migrant trafficking scheme on unrelated procedural grounds. Apparently shipping over 200 migrants to CECOT in El Salvador is an alarming sign of burgeoning Trumpenreich fascism, but planning to illegally ship thousands and thousands migrants to concentration camps just like CECOT, all over the developing world, is now business as usual.

For more details on the most alarming story you've heard almost nothing about, let's turn to this important report by Nick Turse on the Intercept's investigation into Trump's global gulag.

                                                                        theintercept.com/2025/06/25/tr

Trump’s Global Gulag Search Expands to 53 Nations

"An Intercept investigation finds that the Trump administration has been hard at work trying to expand its global gulag for expelled immigrants, exploring deals with a quarter of the world’s nations to accept so-called third-country nationals — deported persons who are not their citizens.

To create this archipelago of injustice, the U.S. government is employing strong-arm tactics with dozens of smaller, weaker, and economically dependent nations. The deals are being conducted in secret, and neither the State Department nor U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will discuss them. With the green light from the Supreme Court, thousands of immigrants are in danger of being disappeared into this network of deportee dumping grounds.

“The Supreme Court’s ruling leaves thousands of people vulnerable to deportation to third countries where they face torture or death, even if the deportations are clearly unlawful,” said Leila Kang, a staff attorney at Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, a group that represents immigrants who filed suit."

So again, I just want to review the situation here so you can understand why I find this story and our broader (lack of) reaction to it so alarming. Right now, as we speak, evidence indicates that various entities in the fascist Trump administration, including in particular the State Department under Marco Rubio, are conducting secret negotiations with over a quarter of the planet, to accept "deported" migrants from completely different countries of origin, on behalf of a white supremacist American government that appears to be actively *looking* for the most dangerous and inhospitable places to traffic kidnapped migrants to. Furthermore, despite the fact that this is clearly illegal and even the Supreme Court itself has ruled that very similar activities were unconstitutional in the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case, noted fundie fascist John Roberts and a 6-3 "conservative" majority all but invited the Trump regime to do so until they get around to ruling on whether or not these clearly illegal activities are in fact, illegal. My friends, if this were a story about China, your media would be running round the clock stories about the horrifying acts of ethnic cleansing, reminiscent of Nazi Germany's efforts to marginalize, criminalize, and ultimately exterminate Jewish people during the Holocaust, obviously about to ensue. Instead? It's pretty much crickets if you're not reading The Intercept and Nick Turse.

Folks I'm not trying to be melodramatic here, but the history is the history. The Nazis argued that by their very nature, Jews were a national security risk; just as our government argues that migrants themselves represent a literal fucking invasion of the United States by rarely-articulated nefarious actors. The Holocaust didn't start with mass murders, it started with stripping the rights and citizenship of Jewish people. It started with Gestapo raids, and "concentrating" racialized "prisoners" into camps. It's not an accident that Auschwitz wasn't built in Germany, but in occupied Poland, far away from the power of German law. Do you understand what you're looking at here? Can you recognize the familiar pattern of scaremongering, the de-personing and denaturalization of targeted minorities, the concentration of potentially stateless individuals in zones where there is no law to protect them? Do you think it's an accident that our clearly fascist, clearly ethnonationalist government, is actively taking all the same steps the Nazi Party took in Germany before they enacted their "final solution" to the "Jewish question?" Do you think Stephen Miller doesn't know what you and I know about where this story usually ends?

                                                                          [?]AnarchoNinaAnalyzes » 🌐

Roughly 14 years and 20+ social media accounts ago, I first encountered "my favorite writer nobody else has ever heard of." Posting under the handle Mobute, it was actually part-time media critic Jeb Lund who ultimately convinced me that there was something to the idea of integrating a social media account, with a website or blog, to more accurately track with the way people under the age of 60 were actually getting their news and analysis content. In a very strange way, everything I've done on NIDC and the social media accounts attached to it, sprung out of enjoying Lund's unique style of writing, and watching how he moved seamlessly from critical essays, to ripping lanyards and nazis on social media, then back again.

Of course, time and the world's richest nazi (except maybe Putin) buying Twitter caused me to lose track of Lund and his work. So imagine my surprise when immediately after the one day general strike against ICE occupation in Minneapolis, a Jeb Lund essay published on Truthdig showed up in my direct message box. Furthermore, imagine my delight when I found that Jeb hadn't lost his fastball, and had indeed drifted much further to the left in the wake of the open and obvious fascist takeover of America; just as I, and almost every other analyst I talk with regularly have.

                                                                          truthdig.com/articles/just-say

                                                                          Just Say ‘No’

"We can also say this: Wherever you live in the United States, the Trump administration is going to bring an ethnic cleansing near you, if not directly to you, and they are going to use every term except that one to describe what they are doing. They will not stop until they have ethnically cleansed the United States, and they do not care if you die. The only lesson each new body teaches them is how inconsequential it is to make the next one."

Quite frankly, I didn't just share this essay to go down memory lane. At the end of the day, what Jeb Lund is articulating here is more or less the central thesis of my own writing about the Trump administration's vision for America, the ethnic cleansing project he and Stephen Miller are conducting, and the Gestapo's role in transforming (in so much as that is even necessary) the United States into a fascist dictatorship - the Pork Reich. Yes it is a fascist dictatorship in progress, yes they are openly doing ethnic cleansing in our streets, no they don't care if you live or die so long as the stock market stays profitable for some, no the cavalry isn't coming to save us, and yes we have to rise up together on our own and beat back the forces of fascism or we're all fucking cooked.

In particular, I think Lund's most compelling argument for why we must all fight is that these people, this fascist order, clearly means to kill millions and millions of Americans for billionaire (cultists) whether you fight back or not. The author acknowledges that opposing a fascist regime can be dangerous, it might even get you killed, but then articulates all the ways this regime is at a minimum completely indifferent to the deaths of the American people it ostensibly represents, and at worst seems to be actively trying to kill us. And Lund isn't just waxing poetic about the Gestapo coming to your door some day either.

"They have already told all levels of law enforcement to take the gloves off, and they take care to look the other way when “officers are on scene” and a “shooting transpires” and “it eventuates” that you die. They don’t care if you are detained and some combination of filth, disease, malnourishment, injury, confiscation of your medication or “discipline” makes you die. They don’t care if your insurance rescinds your coverage and you die. They do not care if they eliminate Medicaid and Medicare, and you have to fly home and take care of your mom before she dies. They don’t care if you fly home to see her, and your plane collides with something and you die, and they don’t care if it’s blown apart by the debris from a Nazi’s rocket that was busy exploding over a protected wetland and you die.

They don’t care if you get measles, mumps or rubella and die. Sometime in early summer of 2020 was the last time they cared that anyone got COVID and died. They resented passing COVID relief, themselves defrauded it with lusty abandon, and, come the next pandemic, they will use their own crime as justification for the moral hazard of spending a cent to make sure you don’t die."

I don't want to just quote the whole essay here, he actually goes on for at least two more paragraphs pointing out all the ways the Trump regime is probably going to kill you anyway, even and perhaps especially if you don't lift a finger to oppose fascism. Lund then closes by pointing to Minneapolis as an example for us all about how to say "no" and what resistance looks like.

Naturally of course, even Lund couldn't get such a "radical message" published in a mainstream outlet. So I wanted to share it with you here.

                                                                            [?]AnarchoNinaAnalyzes » 🌐

Of course, any ethnic cleansing operation, and suppression of people opposed to it, is going to result in casualties. The Trump regime's ethnonationalist cleansing project, even in its nascent stages, cannot be accomplished without horrifying levels of violence, and yes, even murders. To the surprise of precisely no one who has observed how the rest of the Trump administration operates to cover its tracks and work in secrecy, the ICE Gestapo doesn't release information about its violent incidents. Most Americans inherently understand that this violence is occurring somewhere, but that knowledge merely simmers in the background until blatant evidence of Gestapo violence bursts into the public sphere, primarily through the work of citizen journalism - as in the case of the cold blooded executions of Renne Good, and Alex Pretti by Gestapo murderpigs attached to the CBP wing of the Trumpenreich DHS's ethnic cleansing project.

There are however efforts underway to pierce the Trump regime's veil of secrecy surrounding Gestapo violence. For example, at the very end of January 2026, the American Prospect used news reports, government data, and data from nonprofits, watchdogs, and immigration advocacy groups to create a living document to track how many people the Gestapo has injured or killed; to my knowledge, literally nobody else has compiled this data as of yet.

                                                                            prospect.org/2026/01/29/ice-tr

A Running Count of How Many People ICE Has Killed and Injured

"The Trump regime’s deportation monomania has left far more people dead and wounded than it wants you to know. Agents’ public executions of Renee Good and Alex Pretti have rightly drawn widespread fury, heartbreak, and action. And they are just two of the many more agents have murdered or caused to die in the field since January 2025. Even more people have died in immigration prison. And as for the people federal agents have merely injured? An official count doesn’t exist. There is no doubt that the regime is working overtime to hide the full scope of the terror campaign spreading across our country.

The Prospect launched this tracker to do our part to stop them from getting away with it. We are collecting data to bring the real harm into sharper focus and to counterbalance the mainstream media’s sanitation of what we would call “pogroms” if they were happening in any other country. Consider, for example, how The New York Times represents the deadly operation in Minnesota, under the title “Minneapolis Tensions.” Now consider if that would accurately reflect your anguish if modern-day slave catchers used your toddler as bait and then threw him in prison. Or if they marched your grandfather outside in the snow, wearing only his boxers. Or, God forbid, chased your beloved husband or brother or uncle to his death. Would “tensions” be good enough? No.

None of these deaths had to happen. All are a result of Trump’s racist mass deportation drive. They are a stain on our country and we refuse to forget."

As the Prospect notes, this dataset is of course incomplete and almost certainly represents a vast undercount of the number of violent incidents involving Kristi Noem's DHS forces (including ICE, and CBP). The hope with any living document, is that as more information about the violence and murders the Gestapo are responsible for leaks out, the dataset will become more complete. Even still, the Prospect has collected information on 25 people murdered, and 18 people injured during direct encounters with the Gestapo (obviously, the injury number is a VAST undercount), and 44 people people killed in custody - so murdered by our concentration camps.

Look folks, if you've been reading my writing long enough, you know full well that I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg and these folks are prepared to murder millions of people to get the fascist ethnostate of their dreams. But the reality is that we're not talking about a hypothetical future time when the DHS Gestapo will start killing people to do ethnic cleansing; they're already doing it, and they've budgeted to do a lot more of it in the future. This situation is not going to improve, when the Gestapo sucks down enough GOP budget dollars to become the 8th largest army on Earth, and we've already seen this machine been repurposed to target activists, journalists, and pretty much anyone who thinks maybe it's not a very good idea to have a Gestapo or worse, a Schutzstaffel, and do ethnic cleansing. The Trumpenreich's mass deportation project has already put at least 69 people in the ground in just over a single year and this is only just the beginning. I hate to keep beating the same drum, but a genocidal fascist police state prepared to do fucking murders to suppress migrants, is a genocidal fascist police state that will happily do the same no matter who Trump and Miller point them at.

                                                                              AodeRelay boosted

As far back as 2017, I wrote that what is holding Trump back from becoming the genocidal dictator of his dreams, is a big enough army willing to accomplish his illegal ethnonationalist goals. Even now, as GOP budget funding feeds into Trump's turbo-charged police state, he lacks the ability to occupy multiple cities at once, and as Minneapolis demonstrated, the violent fascist goons necessary to control even the cities he occupies. Furthermore, Gestapo security forces the regime is forced to deploy to quell resistance to the ethnic cleansing project in our streets, are Gestapo forces that aren't actually doing the kidnappings necessary to feed Stephen Miller's insatiable demand for deportation numbers.

As I noted above, one of the ways Trump has tried to bridge the numbers gap between the army he has, and the Schutzstaffel of his dreams, is to recruit local police forces into roving "task force" agents that resemble nothing so much as slavecatchers, through the 287(g) program. This program, a longstanding bipartisan gift to racist sheriff's departments that want to play border cop or concentration camp jailer in their towns, has rapidly expanded under the Trump regime, and now former DHS employees are sounding the alarm that like ICE itself, these "deputized" murderpigs are being tasked with rounding people up for the color of the skin, with virtually no oversight whatsoever.

                                                                              theguardian.com/us-news/2026/f

“Taking a problematic enforcement program, that reintroduces models of enforcement that were discontinued because of demonstrable civil rights violations and super-sizing it while removing all internal guardrails, is more than alarming,” said Katerina Herodotou, one of the former CRCL officials who was ousted last year. “It is a threat to civil rights nationwide.”

This is a long article but the short story here is that immediately after taking power, the Trump regime gutted every civil rights and oversight division that would keep track of abuses by pigs operating under these 287(g) agreements. At the same time, DHS mandated a return to a "task force model" of rounding up migrants that had been phased out in 2012 after longtime Trump ally Sheriff Joe Arpaio was found running what was essential a migrant torture camp out of his jail in Arizona.

"Now deputized local officials can interrogate anyone they believe is in the US unlawfully about their immigration status in the course of their regular police work. And they can detain people and turn them over to ICE without the pretext of a criminal arrest, purely on suspicion of violating immigration law despite that being a federal, civil offense."

So, pigs that sign up for this program can behave exactly like Gestapo goons in Minneapolis, and because there's literally nobody assigned to police the police doing this, they definitely will. Now Americans don't have to wait for ICE to come to their town; local police forces can bring the Gestapo to our streets by proxy. Of course adoption of the program is (for now) voluntary, but there sure are a lot of police departments signing up.

"An increasing number of local law enforcement agencies throughout the country have signed 287(g) agreements in the past year to actively cooperate with ICE. In January 2025, fewer than 200 jurisdictions were involved. Now, more than 1,400 local, county and state agencies have signed on to aid DHS in its immigration enforcement work."

How is Trump getting police forces to sign up for a program that makes them Gestapo agents? Sure cops are racist, but they're also lazy. Would you believe by bribing them with money the GOP provided in the Big Fascism Bill?

Walked into my managers office and said I couldn’t hack the job anymore . SSA has caused me to break As someone who fights demons from military service , dealing with chronic health problems finally hit a breaking point and cried for the first time in public . I served my country honorably as a combat engineer in the US Army for 15 LONG years . Before I hit year 5 , I had already spent almost 29 of those months in Afghanistan doing route clearance . After two deployments , I finally found my purpose in life and started a family . Fast forward a tad , I start a wonderful career with the federal government, and was amazed at the opportunities, and benefits that came with working , and continuing to serve my country. Since starting working for SSA, I have had a large portion of my colon removed(complications from diverticulitis), a minor stroke, shingles , AFib that resulted in two heart surgeries . I’m still in my 30’s.After hitting my 10 year mark , I made history by publicly crying. I hit my breaking point . I never thought I would admit I’m mentally exhausted . But it happened. The constant barrage of insults from the public . Mad because work isn’t being done . You’re mad because you know why it’s not being done, but you have to become the emotional punching bag . I must say that admitting that I mentally broke today feels really good, but it still saddens me that we’re being deliberately mistreated . What tops it off , is that if you mention anything about it to people outside of work , they chalk it up as being “ left leaning conjecture “. My heart goes out to all my VA folks. I’ve noticed that feds from across the government ether are pretty tight knit . PS. I’m good , I’m getting the help I need . I wanted to share because one thing I have learned is that you should not suffer in silence . After all I have been through , it was rather embarrassing crying in front of another grown man , but having humility will soothe the soul .

I can't walk you through it in three 5K character posts, even if I wish I could.

Of course, plotting to discredit sexual assault survivors out of his own self interest with other powerful men accused of abuse during the moment isn't the biggest conspiracy fact exposed in the Epstein Files, nor are his co-conspirators the most powerful people among Epstein's friends, confidants, plotters, and advisors. The people in the story I shared above are all scumbags and monsters, but they're pretty small fry compared to say, two US presidents (including the guy in office right now) and a former Israeli Prime Minister.

Despite this however, even this chain of plotting in Epstein's email box, directly corelates with macro decisions made by members of the that affect our society as a whole - in this case US President , who is not only but I'm comfortable putting on the of actual pedo rapists and likely human traffickers. To understand the connection between the micro and the macro, Let's turn to this recent piece by Joan Wallach Scott that talks about Trump's executive order on gender (the same one that says I, as a trans woman basically don't exist) and the growing, successful quest across the United States to eliminate gender studies courses, through the lens of an Epstein class chock full of extremely powerful abusers and more than willing enablers exposed in the US Justice Departments various (and still incomplete) releases.

"The move to cancel gender studies is explicitly justified as a way to comply with Donald Trump’s executive order of last year titled Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government. That document makes “the biological reality of sex” a matter not of science but of law.

Until this week’s latest dump of the Epstein files by Trump’s justice department, I hadn’t seen the connection between the two. But now it’s as clear as day. The abolition of gender studies is a way of further guaranteeing impunity to the elite men whose contempt for and exploitation of women and girls apparently knew no bounds, whether they actually slept with the women on offer or simply shared Epstein’s fantasies in order to gain influence or funding."

Okay so first things first, lets put lets put former director of the Whitney Museum "in the files" and on the "confirmed sick fucks" list even if he was bonding with Epstein over pedo shit, not necessarily committing rape crimes as far as we know, yet. What a revolting human being.

With that out of the way, I think the author's argument that Trump's attempt to enshrine biological gender determinism into law, and a fascist American right's weaponization of that law to eradicate critical studies programs that not only elevate women's voices but illuminate the structural causes behind the victimization of women and girls by powerful men and the existence of the Epstein ring itself, are a clear and obvious boon to abusers and confidants named in the Epstein files, is utterly unassailable. Re-marginalizing women's voices as a whole, further marginalizes women accusing powerful men of sexual assault; full stop.

So at that point, all that's left to argue about is whether or not this relationship between Epstein's plots to rewind time on the accusations against him, the larger Epstein circle of friends attempts to rewind time on accusations, and noted Epstein associate and imo exposed ring member Donald Trump's attempts to rewind time on women having a voice to accuse men like him in the first place, is intentional. On that matter, the Epstein Files are as of yet silent, but as a rational observer I think the establishment world around us warping to Trump's whims and desires silence and further re-marginalize women and sexual violence victims, is singing quite loudly. I can't prove that Trump's executive order, or the decision by US Universities to end gender studies courses arose directly out of Jeff Epstein's plotting, but going forward I want you to pay attention to how often the things Trump and his fascist administration do to reshape our society, just happen to line up perfectly with the ideas and strategies being run through Jeff Epstein's inbox by some of the most powerful, influential, and quite frankly fucking disgusting people on Earth.
