Winter at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, Maine. The folks who do lobstering for a living use these colorful dories to get to their moored lobster boats. It's mid-February and this has been a very cold winter, keeping the SS Crusher extra busy breaking up the harbor ice.

A huge dragon walks out of a sea cave. He is happy and smiling, about to roam the coast and hunt some pirates or fish or whatever it is he hunts
Some 20-30yrs ago mom had a dream that resulted in her painting this. She didn't like it and was a little creeped out by it (I don't remember dream details). I thought it was cool in a William Gibson dystopian future way and brought it home. I never framed it, hanging it above work bench in the garage, perhaps around time I made my EV?.

In the remote volcanic wilderness of northern Iceland, the immense force of Dettifoss reveals itself in a breathtaking display of raw natural power.
From the west side of the canyon, the glacial waters of the Jokulsa a Fjollum River surge across a rugged basalt plateau before plunging violently over the edge of the cliff. The waterfall forms a massive, unbroken curtain of water that crashes into the depths of the canyon below, sending a thick cloud of mist rising into the air.
Standing along the moss-covered ridges that line the canyons edge, the scale of the landscape becomes clear. The ancient basalt cliffs stretch across the horizon, carved by countless centuries of glacial floods and volcanic forces. Below, the river disappears into swirling mist as the thunderous roar of the falls echoes through the canyon.
The vibrant green moss clinging to the volcanic terrain contrasts beautifully with the stark gray basalt and the white cascade of water. In this rugged and windswept corner of Iceland, the landscape feels both timeless and alive.
