Ich habe mir ein paar Gedanken über "meine" SPD gemacht. Als Parteimitglied bin ich natürlich sehr besorgt über den anhaltenden Niedergang dieser aus meiner Sicht extrem wichtigen Partei. Sie übernimmt regelmäßig Verantwortung für unser Land, tut meistens die richtigen Dinge und wird trotzdem vom Wähler immer wieder dafür abgestraft.

We can't know what they'll do with the data they collect.
This is a breach of transparency, and may indicate they're also unlawfully repurposing the data collected for other electoral purposes.

Reform UK gives no legal basis for asking this.

A #Reform UK government would expect to dismiss the top civil servant in every government department and replace them with people seen as more likely to implement the party’s priorities.
This would lead to a loss of significant expertise and of institutional memory, and would make government less effective.
Reform has already said it will remodel government around the way Trump works, via executive order.

I once saw Matt Goodwin at a public speaking event and thought him extremely stupid. That is to say not that I merely disagreed with him, but that he didn't seem to have the ability to connect thoughts and have anything more than a superficial understanding of ideas.
To learn he's also a sexpest and may now have to step down as Reform's candidate in Gorton is a poetic outcome, I think.
Matt Goodwin had said : "It takes more than a piece of paper to make somebody ‘British’", and that "migrants do not instantly adopt the host country’s ‘British’ or ‘English’ culture and identity the moment they sign a few papers.

Robert Jenrick has been sacked as shadow minister on account of the shadow leader thinking he's thinking of defecting.
Presumably this encourages him to defect really? Even if he wasn't planning to leave, why stay around in a party that can't win and is sacking people on paranoid presumptions that they will leave?
Seems like all the rats at the Conservative party are jumping ship to Reform. People will be voting Reform at the next election and literally getting the exact same ministers as when they voted Conservative at the last one.
This isn't like the usual "Vote X, get Y", where the broken electoral system lets the least popular party in because the popular political wing is divided. This is literally "Vote reform, Reform win, but you get the exact people who were standing as Conservative last time"
