Putting together an art show is a lot of work.

Marching across a city square is a parade of white podlike forms, each with a huge asymmetrical window that’s recessed and aglow. Peek through any of the windows, and a miniature art gallery of sorts is revealed. Perhaps there’s a sculpture, a photograph, or a painting in its own intimate vignette.

Last weekend we took the girls to visit the Exploratorium. This was actually our second trip to the Exploratorium, but our first to it's new location at Pier 15. I never got around to posting about our first visit to the Exploratorium last year. The museum itself was great and Ava had a fantastic time with all of the hands on displays, however my day was overshadowed by an over-tired Lola and an incident at the giant bubble making station. To kick off our @PLAY project in 2017, we developed a massive 8 ft. x 20 ft. collaborative mural for the Signal Tree Festival. More than 300 people made their mark on the AKRON mural, which was later finished by Mac Love and Alan Lunda. The following year, we returned to Signal Tree with the first
