Another real-time VFX study (Unity)! At first I only wanted to try out different dissolve shaders, but this time I also messed around with dynamic lights and physics. I really enjoyed the way the light behaved creating those hard shadows, also the physics felt really satisfying and I could spend a long time blowing a whole bunch of boxes :D The rest is pretty much what I'm used to - billboards and meshes rendered by the native particle system (shuriken) and a few custom shaders.

Old work, done about 1,5 years ego. This form appears around the player's body and gives incredible power and extra abilities. Each class archetype has its own Elder Form.
