We don’t like to constantly brag about how great the Apartment Therapy Classifieds are, so we’ll let Goli do it for us. This hutch came from the classifieds, a little worse for wear but clearly, it wasn’t anything Goli couldn’t handle (and handle fabulously). What a difference! We’re loving how those new gold pulls really stand out against the dove grey Goli chose. And the lighter color really makes the architectural details pop.

I used Rustoleum winter gray, Charcoal gray and Cocoa. I also added wallpaper in the back.

Just finished this 1930's vintage mahogany china cabinet in French Linen with clear and dark wax. I love to paint dark pieces of furniture, especially mahogany, because when you sand the chalk paint back there is such a contrast with the wood and paint. The detailing of the furniture really shows through. I have also learned to shellac these pieces because if you don't the red tannins will bleed through. Every. Single. Time. French Linen has become a favorite of mine lately. It does help…
