Clean the Mug: Ensure the mug is clean and dry. Plan Your Design: Sketch your design on paper or directly on the mug with a pencil. Paint the Mug: Use ceramic paints or markers to decorate the mug. Apply multiple coats if necessary, allowing each coat to dry before adding the next. For a more polished look, consider using a pottery wheel for the clay mug. Experiment with different glazing techniques, such as dipping, brushing, or sponging.

These belong to my beginners and are all exceptional boxes with locking lids. I was especially impressed with the glazing details, the kids are finally getting comfortable and familiar with the very difficult task of glazing their pots.
