I used to paint trunks all the time -- but haven't painted one recently until I found this bad boy at the thrift shop. I did a bright decoupage finish with Dixie Belle's new rice paper: Life. I liked the idea that the LIFE message would be displayed on the front of the trunk. And I also loved that the message would be displayed on a piece that likely held someone from the past's prized LIFE possessions in it!
