Is everyone excited for the blood moon tomorrow??
I have a bunch of information (offerings, ritual, properly approaching her, associations, resources, etc) compiled on my e-shrine dedicated to her — hekate-krataiis.tumblr.com/tagged/reference
my personal experience and opinion regarding approaching her and interacting with her:
she is proud, dignified, stern, elegant, and forceful. she does not put up with disrespect nor disobedience. she demands respect and does not like to be ignored. she does not like to be bothered unless it’s for a serious matter (and she’s the judge of that, ultimately). she’s never gone from my life, but she does seem to “hang around” in the background at times.
she does not appreciate being called upon for trivial matters, especially when an offering and thanks isn’t properly given. she may not always be “close by,” but she is there for me when times are tough, to support me and push me forward. she does not allow me to give up. she is strong and I strive to obtain that same strength. she doesn’t allow me to feel sorry for myself. she is the Torch Bearer, she guides me, she leads me to knowledge.
