Massive compilation mod for GTA: San Andreas
California Megamod is a free-to-use mod that contains the best add-on materials for the role-playing game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. However, more than simply repackaging all the other add-ons in existence, it adds a couple of its own features on some gameplay materials. It keeps the player in control by adding a menu to let you choose which mods to activate.

As the name suggests, California Megamod contains a lot of mods in it. Therefore, its full version requires about 1.71 GB in order to download. After that, however, it’s all fun and games with its easy installation package.
If you’re concerned about plagiarizing the work of other modders, the one who made this compilation places sufficient credits on the original owners, making it a community work. Additionally, it supports both English and Spanish languages in the game. As for the menu, you can activate specific mods in-game, although certain mods take some time to load properly, causing the screen to flicker or black out at times.
Of course, the main challenge with a mod this large is its tendency to overwhelm new players. While mods are grouped from the main menu, the sheer number of mods in each subsection makes it difficult to choose one, forcing you to scroll down. Additionally, the lack of tooltips makes it a bit more challenging since not all mods are named in a way that accurately describes them.

With the endless stream of new content for GTA, San Andreas players have their needs met with California Megamod. By combining hundreds of mods in a single, loadable in-game file, you no longer have to restart the game every time you want a different set of changes to take effect. While the list is long, it’s still fun and worth it to keep in your library.
