xtheharvstfloorx not as technical as their "middle" era, or as dramatic as their newer stuff, but still a pretty solid and cohesive death metal record Favorite track: Chunk Blower.

hell_awaits In my opinion, probably cattle decapitation’s best album.
It doesn’t only mark the start of the bands full releases, but it’s an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. From the second you spin it with the opening track “testicular manslaughter" to the very last second of the record with “chunk blower"(my favorite off the album) it’s a straightforward, brutal, masterpiece.
Old cattle is the shit, even in their Goregrind/Grindcore days, not one single miss. Favorite track: Chunk Blower.

Matthew Frain Cattle Decapitation's second full-length studio album is not for humans. In fact one look at the album artwork shows this band has a serious 'beef' (no-pun) with the human race. Clocking in at 35 minutes this record is an onslaught of pure technical death metal with grindcore influences mixed in. One can hear and see the influence that would help Cattle Decapitation on the way to their own death metal sound. Favorite track: Deadmeal.

Tomb of the Mutilated is one of the most iconic death metal albums ever, thanks to 'Hammer Smashed Face.' Seeing it in Ace Ventura blew me away. I only had the Vile CD back then, but Tomb, with Chris Barnes's classic vocals, delivered a fresh, crushing sound. 'Post Mortal Ejaculation' was — and still is — my favorite of the album: the slowed shift at 2:06, the piercing scream as the drums kick in, then the ferocious blast beats at 2:51. So many twists, and so brutal, especially for its time. Obsidian One
