Optics design status for the muon collider rapid cycling synchrotrons / Soubirou, L (U. Paris-Saclay) ; Chance, A (U. Paris-Saclay) ; Damerau, H (CERN) ; Lamb, E (CERN) ; Metral, E (CERN) ; Thiele, L (CERN) ; Amorim, D (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne)
The baseline design for the high-energy injector complex of a muon collider consists of a chain of pulsed synchrotrons spanning an energy range from 63 GeV to the target collision energy of 5 TeV. This chain incorporates both normal and hybrid synchrotrons, the latter featuring a combination of fixed-field superconducting magnets and pulsed normal-conducting magnets. [...]

Emittance tuning of the FCC-ee High Energy Booster ring / Bruant, Q (Saclay) ; Dalena, B (Saclay) ; Chance, A (Saclay) ; Gautard, V (Saclay) ; Bugiotti, F (U. Paris-Saclay) ; Ghribi, A (GANIL) ; Tomas Garcia, R (CERN)
Previous studies for the electron-positron version of the Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee) have highlighted the need to define tolerances on magnet imperfections and develop correction strategies. This is crucial for ensuring the performance of one of the main elements in the acceleration chain: the High Energy Booster (HEB) ring. [...]

The Future Circular Collider (FCC) ‘integrated programme’ consists of an initial electron-positron collider FCC-ee, which is later followed by a proton-proton collider, FCC-hh, installed in the same 91 km circumference tunnel close to CERN. Over a span of 15 years, from the mid or late 2040s through the early 2060s, the FCC-ee shall operate at centre-of-mass energies between about 90 and 365 GeV, always delivering the highest possible luminosities to four experiments, in a sustainable and energy-efficient way. Future Circular Collider Feasibility Study Report Volume 2 : Accelerators, technical infrastructure and safety / Benedikt, M. (CERN) ; Zimmermann, F. (CERN) ; Auchmann, B. (CERN ; PSI, Villigen) ; Bartmann, W. (CERN) ; Burnet, J.P. (CERN) ; Carli, C. (CERN) ; Chancé, A. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Craievich, P. (PSI, Villigen) ; Giovannozzi, M. (CERN) ; Grojean, C. In response to the 2020 Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics, the Future Circular Collider (FCC) Feasibility Study was launched as an international collaboration hosted by CERN. The FCC ‘integrated programme’, described in this report, in a first stage consists of a highest-luminosity electron-positron collider, FCC-ee, serving as Higgs, top and electroweak factory, with a subsequent energy-frontier proton-proton collider, FCC-hh, as the second stage.     The FCC-ee is designed to operate at four baseline centre-of-mass energies, corresponding to the Z pole, the WW pair production threshold, the ZH production peak, and the top/anti-top production threshold, always delivering the highest possible luminosities to four experiments.
