Grandma’s Flan Pie: A Creamy, Heavenly Dessert
Description: This decadent pie combines the silky smoothness of flan with a buttery pie crust. It’s the perfect comforting dessert, offering a rich, creamy texture with a deliciously sweet flavor that’s sure to remind you of homemade warmth. Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F). Roll out the pie crust and place it into a pie dish. Set aside. In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat to create caramel. Once golden brown, pour the caramel into the bottom of the pie crust and set aside. In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth. Pour the flan mixture into the prepared pie crust and bake for 45-50 minutes, until set. Let cool before refrigerating for at least 2 hours before serving.
