This year, I have been focusing on being  intentional about listening to my body. I’m learning that as I listen, I hear the whispers before the screams. Being A type personality and always on the go, I had basically previously programmed my mind to be so distracted that I would never hear my nervous system asking me to slow down, to rest. It would always be too late, and I would end up SO burnt out, and way too overstimulated. Which in turn wreaked havoc on my overall health.
