DAILY DEVOTION / VERSE OF THE DAY Matthew 5:8 (NIV) Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. This is what you and I are living for, to finally live in God's presence. And the key to this reality is your heart. May you become an overcomer by trusting in and using the resources He has availed to you to wage spiritual war. Amen. #besharpened #dailydevotion #verseoftheday God's Presence, Daily Devotion, The Pure, Daily Bible Verse, Daily Bible, Verse Of The Day, Daily Devotional, Jesus Christ, You And I

Believers Are “Pure in Heart”

Those believers in Antioch became baptized Christians, and the faithful among them could apply to themselves Jesus’ words: “Happy are the pure in heart, since they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8) But who are “the pure in heart”? And how do they “see God”?

The pure in heart are inwardly clean. Theirs is a purity of appreciation, affections, desires, and motives. (1 Timothy 1:5) They see God now in that they observe him acting in behalf of integrity keepers. 1 Timothy 5:8, Blessed Are The Pure In Heart, Jesus Words, Jesus Kingdom, Faith Scripture, Matthew 5, Pure Heart, 1 Timothy, Daily Scripture
