It is worth noting that there are so many more ways you can grow food from scraps but these are a few of my favourites. Food prices are getting higher and higher each day, so why not try to grow your own. There are certain foods that can even be grown by simply replaying the old scraps and letting them regrow. It is worth noting that some scraps when regrown will not really be edible, a great example of this is lettuce and carrots. While you can regrow both by planting the ends, for lettuce you will grow a sour bolted lettuce that in my opinion is not tasty, and for carrots you will grow the foliage not the root.
