Architectural Glass for Mercy Health West Hospital by Viracon. Your single-source architectural glass fabricators

The Baptist Memorial Hospital in Crittenden needed more space and resources to accommodate a growing number of patients. They created a new campus that included additional beds, a cancer center, a more efficient ED overflow system, an indoor-outdoor cafe, and a small chapel—all within budget. Today, the hospital can better serve both the medical staff and patients through their new, inviting and space-efficient space.

The WER Architects interior design department renovated an existing “big box” coffee shop to create a unique space within the bustling Baptist Health hospital. The newly designed space provides a retreat for doctors, patients, and visitors alike. This project was awarded an ASID Excellence in Design Silver Award.

Our task was to develop the existing staff cafeteria into a functional and on trend space. We developed the layout, user journey and back of house kitchen to create an open, relaxed and communal environment.
