*Scroll down for all images* Here's a personal project I've been working on at home, during my spare time. Inspired by games like Uncharted and Tomb Raider. Textures were made using Substance Designer (except foliage) Used a lot of vertex painting to blend between different materials for the rocks and the temple pieces. In game UE4.

Henry Cheng and I were dual environment artists on this section. He took care of most of the modeling and I did texturing/shading and modeling in two main sections when it came to the temple looks. This was a massive level that I really enjoyed being part of. Andrew Watkins did an amazing job on the vista mountains all around. I wanted to do an atmospheric piece where it was just raining and everything sparkles as light breaks through the trees. The story is that an adventurer wants to explore a lost hidden temple but strangely the torches are lit up so someone has been before him, so he could be in imminent danger or maybe the person before him has triggered the temple traps making it easier for him to enter and reach the treasures deep inside the temple.
