Building on the success left by the previous aeroad would be no easy task. To do so, it required one of the most resource­intensive development projects Canyon has ever undertaken. Starting in 2016, it’s taken over four years to get to this point, with suc­cesses and setbacks along the way, all in pursuit of creating the new benchmark. The result is the flat­out fastest race bike on the market.

My new build. The model is an old swedish racing bike from the seventies called Crescent 92319, Världsmästarcykeln. Built from Reynolds 531 tubing. I fitted it with a moustache-bar, larger tyres, fenders, porteur-rack and of course, a brass bell. This bike is going to serve as my everyday bike.
