We'd spent many evenings with a flashlight in hand looking for our adventurous free ranging hens who hadnt returned to bed. We knew we needed some sort of fencing that still allowed them generous space and came across the Omlet Chicken Fencing.
Great quality materials, adjustable to fit any kind of layout ( part of ours is on a bank and we havent had any issues), its exactly what we needed. Thanks Appletons!
'well constructed and easy to put together. Our chickens cannot work it out, even after shaking it for them to see the seeds falling out. Epic fail in our coop.
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. Sometimes, it can take some time for chickens to get used to the interactions of a peck & release device. It can also happen that your chickens are simply not big fans of the peck toy. In that case, you might want to try a different method, such as dismantling the toy and then leaving it on the ground, with the treats inside, to see if chickens show interest that way. My recommendation would be to preserve, and they may, in time, explore it and learn the joy of peck and release treats 😊
arrived quickly and good solution to mip lice in the bud if you have a mid sized, free range flock where tree roosting makes use of powders and dusts tricky.
My absolute go to. After much research into various brands etc. Weston came up trumps in all areas of nutrition, ingredients and wellbeing outcomes even though I have to order it online and ship it from the South Island to the North Island. Having raised 16 chicks from different breeds, clutched, and in different methods. I have never lost any, had any health issues or development issues.
I also use their Chook Grow and Free-range Layer Pellets.
Easy to construct and secure. Much easier than constructing your own and not much more expensive. Highly recommend.
It is easy to put on & the bunnies don’t seem interested in chewing it, which is absolutely an added bonus. It seems perfect for its intended use so far.
Needed a replacement for a pole broken in a storm. These arrived well packaged and in the expected time frame
Smells great. I used a pressure spray that I can carry around. Did all 10 coops (big day). Will make sure I always have this on hand. Thank you. Always great, fast service! Thank you!
This water drinker is such a simple yet clever design,. There is nothing to go wrong. It is easy to fill and lasts at least a week before needing refilling and is easily accessible by our chooks.
Easy clean up and my bunny loves it, just need to put down another layer as his feet go through the panels as he is a minilop
Great service and information, with fast shipping! The product arrived quickly and was exactly as described. Really appreciated the helpful info provided — made everything simple and stress-free. Thank you :)
The u tube instructions are brilliant . Only thing missing is a video of the process to attach to wall. Which took a while to work out from PDF instructions. Cats already love it. I am in process of changing window opening. Added bonus can leave open while away from home as no one can access window from outside
Good quality, easy to use and long lasting.
Needed extra poles with the kit I brought 2 years prior as I was making it bigger.
I have chickens you can pat/pick up and some chickens that you can't. For the girls that I can, putting 3 drops on the back of their necks was super easy at bedtime. For the other girls I just put the drops onto fresh bits of gobble down size bread and they were happy to eat it with no stress for them or me. Now just waiting the 14 recommended days before we can start consuming their lovely eggs again 😋
Thos is the most comprehensive wormer out there. My vet advised me to wormer my birds every three months and recommended this. It was sent very quickly and the expiry date was perfect.
Good quality and easy to put up giving a good run area, unfortunately my chooks flew right over lol so hasn’t actually worked as intended
Was a bit of a pain to add a 15mm coupling to the bottom of the drinker as there isn't much room to make the connection tight. We have Lola's water piped in from an IBC to the bottom of the drinker and added pipe up above it with a tap to allow us to give it a clean every now and then as the bowl gets dirty from her nose. The quality of the build is really good though and the flow rate is good enough you don't need to have it plumbed into a pump.
