Sunset Sunday

This is last nights sunset. Last night on my way out to Antelope Island there were more people taking photos of the sunset than I have ever seen. This was my last photo taken. It was not my best,but I still remember how I felt while taking it. Everyone else had left and I was miles from anyone else,the calm and beauty really made this a special moment.

Just as I was leaving this eveneing to come home I stumbled across this shot.

Oh Little Town

The first photo was taken on a very cold night at Temple Square in Salt Lake City.The second was tonights sunset,unfortunately I caught the tale end.The brightest colors were 15 to 20 min. earlier.

This has been a fantastic week for sunsets,these are but just a few. I let my wife choose her favorites this week. In viewing other monitors I'm surprised had how different they show the pictures. I would like to know if you easily see the birds in the second picture after enlarging.

Majestic Sunday Sunsets

These were taken the last night of our trip. There were not any clouds,but the colorful sky made up for it. My computer has ben down and I'm working on a laptop so it's hard to tell exactly how the pictures look. Hope they turned out ok.

Violent as the red sky

Hot off the press.This was taken tonight just an hour ago. The wind was soo strong the van shook and I could only open the sliding door inches to shoot through. To shoot outside I would have ended up in the next county. But the sunset was great so it made for a nice night.
