Stefan Charisius composes music and songs on his Kora, a 21-string Westafrican harp, initiates the “Wagenhallen” in Stuttgart and is co-founder of the DUNDU Project after having created several music groups. The CHARISIUS album is his very first solo album.
Likewise, the sensitive, expressive and unique sound of the Kora enriches the music of the groups TASUMA, CHARISIUS and DUNDUMUSIK.
In combination with the movable large-scale (5m) figures DUNDU by TJF Husemann, a truly positive mood emerges and people of all parts of the world get inspired to fanciful creativity. DUNDU performs for several thousands of spectators, at theatres and music festivals, on TV shows, as "culture medium of peace" and messenger of light.
The Kora has been used for hundreds of years for the opening up of emotional and sensory levels, for the wellbeing and for inner peace.
Its beauty of sound creates a particular, relaxed world.
