CipherStash is building the cryptographic access control layer for the post-perimeter world. We started this company because the old threat model broke when humans left the loop. The database has been readable to anyone who reaches it for thirty years. That fact is gone.
CipherStash is the product formerly known as CipherStash. The team, the research, and the infrastructure are the same. The name is sharper.

Eighteen people. Five time zones.
CipherStash is a fully remote team of eighteen people working from Sydney, Gosford, Mackay, Melbourne, Tokyo, Cornwall, Kuala Lumpur, and Denver. We ship on an asynchronous cadence, meet in person a few times a year, and answer incidents around the clock.
We are hiring. Cryptography engineers, Rust systems engineers, and a head of growth.
