Hi dear CTK friends! Anna here with you today sharing some coffee love. This month's Life Crafted "Make it a Venti" kit worked like a charm for this spread.
Here's what I came up with this time.
I'm totally in love with all these puffy and Chipboard Stickers in this month's kit. This time I got a little bit crazy using them, but I couldn't help myself, lol!
Also I've a little crush on all these gorgeous patterned papers this month ( actually it's the same gorgeousness each and every month, right? ) Therefore I decided to try to use as many of them as I could for this spread and made a stripe design with some additional stitches. I love how it turned out.
Now it's your time to grab your kit and have some fun. Don't forget to share your goodness with us on Facebook, CTK Fan Page or/and on Instagram, #citrustwistkits. We can't wait to see your creations and give you some love.
Thanks for stopping by here today! Anna xo

Sunday Sketch with Emma
Hello CTK friends! Emma back on the blog today to share this weeks Sunday Sketch. As you know, I do love the sketch challenges ;)
First up, let's have a look at our fun sketch that we're working with:
Our sketch is 12x12 but I haven't created one of those sized layouts for years now, so I had to get a little creative in down-sizing it to fit my Life Crafted album. Here's a look at the page I've put together:
I've tried to keep to the similar design but just brought the side elements in closer together! Because the background was plain I thought I'd mix things up by using a little bit of the Vicki Boutin glaze along with the Carta Bella stencil (available in the store). I'm not big on using the mixed media goodies I have but every now and then I give them a try.
I love how this adds a subtle pattern to my backing cardstock!
Once my background had dried (the waiting for things to dry always gets me, I even used a heat-gun - just seems to take forever, ha) I started building my layers under my photo. I used a couple of tags included in the month's cut-aparts and layered them ontop of the tiny alphabet stickers included in this month's Life Crafted kit.
I typed my journaling up on my computer and just picked a type-writer font. I've popped it at the top of my page to fill a bit of that white space.
For the bottom of my page I tried to match the sketch - I went with the pink woodgrain paper (to match in with the pink tag I'd used) and added that cute coffee stamp/puffy sticker at the bottom left!
Once my photo and journaling were in place I just added a few extra embellishments - I just love the puffy stickers included in the Life Crafted kit this month and they're a perfect match for this page about our new coffee shop!
This little page came together in no time using the sketch! I love creating these pages for my Life Crafted album - it's such a fun and stress-free size to work with. I've filled one album already and already a few pages into my second! Really looking forward to buying the new plastic pockets so I can add a little variety to my album as well!
Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today. I can't wait to see your pages using it. Be sure to share your page with us in the CTK Facebook Fanpage!

Mixed Media Scrapbooking with Nathalie
Hi there!
I picked the new Maggie Holmes - Sunny Days - Acrylic paint set from the CTK shop cause i knew they would easily combined with all the papers from this month's kits. For this page, i used the blue and teal paint to create the background of the page.
Once the background dried, i used an edge punch (Scallop lace from EK Tools) to create two strips of paper from the Add-on kit. Since my daughter is wearing blue in the picture, i chose to use colors that match those tones. Once the strips were stitched to the page, it was all about layering papers from the Make It a Venti and add on behind the picture.
To soften the blue tones of the page, i chose to bring a little bit of pink details in the fussy cut flowers and butterflies (add on kit). Then used embellishments from the Add on Kit and cut apart elements to create clusters around the picture.
To finish the page, i combined stickers from the add on kit and the Make it A Venti Alphas as well as some stamping using blue ink and this month's Add on Stamp. The following video will show you how it all came together.
Though the mixed media is just peaking from behind all the layers of paper and embellishments, i love how it sets the mood for the page. Remember you can always contact me if you have questions, and stop by the Citrus Twist Kits shop to check the kits and all the coordinating goodies that arrive each month.

Sunday Sketch with Marsha
Hello friends! It's Marsha, and I'm back with a layout for the CTK Sunday Sketch challenge. This is another awesome sketch, and I really hope you will play along with us.
Here's the sketch:
Here's my version- converted to a traveler's notebook layout:
As you can see, my layout follows the sketch pretty closely. Why mess with perfection, right?!?
For my TN layout, I used the April "Make It a Venti" kit and the April Cut Aparts. I LOVE coffee, so I thought it would be fun to create a page documenting my favorite recipe (coffee and creamer).
To begin the spread, I chose several papers from the kit. There were so many beautiful papers, that I wanted to use them all :). I layered them and adhered them to the page, trimming the papers down the middle to allow for the fold in the traveler's notebook. I chose the LOVE ephemera piece to begin my title and also used some of the puffy alphas. I like the fun look of mixing the colors of the letters for the title! The chipboard "details" sticker completed my title.
Next, I layered more ephemera pieces, chipboard stickers, and puffy stickers, creating embellishment clusters around the layout. I stamped a coffee cup from the kit stamp set, using some mint colored ink from my stash. One of the cut apart labels was perfect for adding a little bit of journaling.
I love how these page came together using the coffee themed Make It a Venti kit! I hope you will play along with the Sunday Sketch Challenge and share your project with us on the Citrus Twist Kits Fan Page on Facebook.

Life Crafted with Marsha
Hey friends! Marsha here again today, and I'm excited to be sharing a spread in my Life Crafted Album. I used this month's Life Crafted "Make It a Venti" kit and the Life Crafted Stamp Add-on to create this layout. I just love the colors and designs in this kit! I also love that even though it is coffee themed, this kit can be used for lots of other types of documenting.
To begin the layout, I chose one of this month's exclusive cut files, "Retro Heart." The best part about using this cut file is it's already sized to fit perfectly in the Life Crafted album! I resized one of the traveler's notebook digital papers using my Silhouette Studio software. By doing this, I was able to cut the entire file using patterned paper. I then layered the cut file over a white cardstock base.
For my journaling, I chose one of the labels from the Make It a Venti Cut Aparts. I layered the label over an ephemera piece from this month's kit. The tiny tile alphabet stickers were perfect for adding the date. To finish off this side of the layout, I added a chipboard heart sticker from last month's Life Crafted "Life Chapters" Kit.
For the other side of the layout, I printed another digital TN paper and sized it to fit in the album. I layered a piece of white cardstock down the center of the paper, so that the heart pattern was peeking out on both sides. Next, I trimmed a few of the kit papers to layer behind this cute photo of my niece, and used some of the ephemera pieces from this month's kit to embellish this area. I hand cut a heart using the woodgrain paper and added it to the cluster. Using a border punch from my stash and the pink patterned paper from the kit, I cut a scalloped border piece and tucked it behind the photo. I saved another scalloped piece to add to the bottom of the page. I love how this mimics the scallop from the heart cut file!
For my title, I chose the ephemera "THIS" die cut and added some of the puffy alphabet stickers from the kit.
To finish off the spread, I added some machine stitching to a few areas of the layout, and I used the Life Crafted Stamp Add-on to stamp a couple of sentiments around the page.
Thank you for stopping by today. I can't wait to see what you create using this month's Life Crafted "Make It a Venti" kit!

Life Crafted with Nathalie
Hi there!
Nathalie with you today! By now you all have seen this month's "MAKE IT A VENTI" Life Crafted kit. I think we are all in awe at what Trina is putting together for the kits each month, truly gorgeous patterns, colors and ideas that make putting together a layout super easy and fast.
It all started with one of this month's exclusive cut files. I used the small screen version of it to cut two of them with the same dimension but as mirror images of each other,so that i can sandwich patterned paper in between both sides of the page.
For the first layout, i used the heart screen as the background for my picture. Since i was backing the cut file, i chose to print the Digital TN papers so that i can have the same pattern for both sides of the page -having the option to print my own papers on demand helps to stretch the kits and personalize them, so check out the digital files available in the store-.
The picture of both my Goddaughters was backed with the one of the Make It a Venti kit's papers and set on the heart background. I added a few of the cut apart elements to the picture to create a cluster, and then brought a few stickers from last month's Life Chapters kit to add sentiments to each cluster. I added my lines of journal at the bottom of this page.
To complement this page, i used the b side of a previous 3x8 insert to add a few of the kit's PL cards and house my title in one of them. For this, i printed the flower frame PL card and fussy cut the floral image. This was then glued to the top of the card, the empty space left was the perfect spot to add my title using the mini rose gold alpha stickers from the kit. The bottom card was used as a filler card, but was the perfect complement on color and sentiment for my layout.
Remember i mentioned that i cut two mirror image cut outs of the heart screen, and sandwich patterned paper in between them; well here is the b-side of the layout. This time i went for a simpler approach in this page.
This time, I am using the cut out as a complement to my picture and not the background. So, i decided to add my title to this page using a combination of the ephemera and Puffy Alpha stickers from the Make It a Venti kit. The word sticker and chipboard heart are pieces from past kits that complement this page.
I used one of the TN digital papers as the background for my picture. This time, a paper from the kit was used as a layer behind the picture, To repeat the colors in the title, labels and stickers from the cut apart sheet and previous kits were used. I cut one of this month's PL cards to create my journaling spot and sentiment under the picture, and then finished this spread by adding a few stamped sentiments using one of the add-on stamp sets. The following video will show you how it all came together:
The new "Make It A Venti" Life Crafted kit is sure to be one of my most favorites to date. Plus having the option of printing my own papers and PL cards on demand make it so much more lasting, so check out these option son the digital CTK shop.
Remember that you can always contact me with any questions on how this was put together. I cannot wait to see what you all create.
