Sunday Sketch with Loredana Bucaria - July 2020 Guest Designer-
Hi there!
Today we have a special treat for you, as our Guest Designer - Loredana Bucaria- is joining us for one last time with this week's Sunday Sketch. Here is the sketch she is using as inspiration for her page...
and this is what Loredana has created using the July kits...
She has used a combination of the Wild at Heart Life Crafted and July Add-on kit to create her page. The construction of her page remains as shown in the original sketch.
She has added a bit of mixed media to the background, and distressed the edges of the paper strips to add interest to the layers. Just love all the texture she has added with the sewing thread!
She is using blue ink in her stamping and splatters to accent the colors in the layers and pictures. we just love how she used the sketch on this beautiful page.
Remember to follow Loredana at https://www.instagram.com/loredanabucaria/ to check more of her amazing projects and be inspired by her work.

Life Crafted with Sheree
Hello friends!
One of the things I love about the Life Crafted Kits is how they make it so quick and easy to put a spread together. Today I have this project to share with you featuring some of the journaling cards, stamps and ephemera pieces from this month's gorgeous "Wild @ Heart" Life Crafted Kit…
I was really drawn to the colours, especially the green, in the “LOVE” and “reasons to smile” journaling cards and I thought they co-ordinated so well with my full page photo.
For the “reasons to smile” card I used my typewriter to type out the text strips, cut them out and then adhered them into the spaces on the card. I then used my sewing machine to stitch across each strip. By using the strips instead of typing directly onto the card it added layers and texture to the card which is what I love on my projects.
The “LOVE” card is one of my favourites from the kit and I love the combination of colours! To add some lovely texture to this one I used a paper piercer to create stitching holes in each letter, then hand stitched each letter in matching embroidery thread. To finish it off I simply added the date using a date stamp from my stash.
For the full page photo I thought it would be fun to add a butterfly with a stitched flight path. I used a template from my stash to help pierce the curved line (although this could be done freehand too), then used some pink embroidery thread to stitch along to trail. The butterfly was adhered into place then I used my sewing machine to secure it onto the page. I love that the wings are still able to lift up creating some dimension.
At the bottom of the large photo, I decided to create an embellishment cluster. I used the leaf border stamp from the This Is Life “Wild @ Heart” Stamp Set with green ink and white cardstock to create a strip to go along the bottom of the page. I stamped a phrase from the same set onto a rectangular label, then stamped the word “Weekend” using the Bailey Alphabet, Number, Month Stamp set onto some white cardstock and cut it out to use on the larger pink label. The labels were then layered together and I also added some hearts and a little green enamel dot. A little machine stitching helped to finish it all off.
You can see more details in the process video below...
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing how this project came together!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I look forward to sharing another project with you soon!

JULY KIT LOVE
Hello everyone!
July is here, we are starting the second half of a rather unusual year. All around the world we are celebrating the changes in seasons, and for many a sort of restart of a new way of life. So, this month we wanted to take the chance to design and curate kits that celebrate the "WILD AT HEART" moments that we so love and cherish.
This month's color palette was inspired by a trip to the California , you will even find original art by Trina sprinkled through the entire kit. Let's join Nathalie as she shares a closer look of the Life Crafted: WILD AT HEART kit:
Just love all the colorful and fresh designs of the kit! We are confident you are going to love it, too and will use it to document your memories in our Life Crafted albums or your favorite format.
Of course we have not forgotten about all the larger format documenters. As we do each month, we have curated a Scrapbooking Add-On Kit that complements and coordinates with our Life Crafted kit.
This month's kits feature a selection of papers and embellishments from some of your favorite manufacturers. We are sure that you are going to enjoy all the color, texture and fun this kit brings. Join Nathalie as she shares a walk through of our Add-On kit and some of the newer products arriving at the shop now:
We have an amazing Creative team who has been working with our July Kit already and you are going to love what they have created with the kits, stamps, digital files and of course our Life Crafted albums.
We are so thankful to you all for welcoming our kits to your homes, and have seen an increase on the number of monthly subscriptions. These has prompted as to start a Wait list for the upcoming release - August- as our current July subscription is already sold out. Please email us with any questions, and visit our shop for more information.
New kits, new albums and hopefully a fresh restart! We cannot wait to see what you create with all this new products!
