3-to-inspire with Marivi

Another Saturday with a new 3-to-Inspire challenge, for today this is my challenge:
1.Project life covers
2.Ephemeras
3.Two photos

I haven't used pocket cards for a long time, I have taken advantage of the new size of sleeves, instax, which I really liked, this way I break a bit with the aesthetics of my Life Crafted Album.

On the first page I have placed a photo with a couple of cards that I had to cut out for this measure, and in another pocket a flower and an ephemera phrase. On one of the cards I have used a stamp.

On the other page I have placed the photo in the lower right pocket.
In the other pockets I have also placed ephemera and a card that I made with one of the papers from the kit.

Here you can see in detail the ephemera that I have used and the photo.

As I love them and they cannot be missing in my projects, I have glued some enamel dots.
When I use pocked cards, I always glue the ornaments with volume above the pocket, so that it does not bulge them.

I hope you like this challenge, as always thanks for stopping by.

See you soon!

Inspiration with Marivi

Hello again, I am very happy to post today ... because it is my birthday, it is a gift.
I bring two small layouts with the beautiful November Kit.

I have combined two papers from the collection, one with the photo and the other with a project life card, which I have decorated with some ephemera flowers and leaves and some enamel dots.

In this photo you can see more details.

I have decorated the photo with a label and a puffy heart.

Here I have used a pocket card to make a sewn pocket.
That I have combined for the other page with a decorated paper from the collection.

I have sewn two ephemera labels as decoration and I have punched out a couple of small flowers with the paper from the other page.

Here I have framed the details of this page sewn with the sewing machine.

With a stamp I have stamped a phrase. And inside the frame a bird on a label and several enamel dots.

I hope you like it and thank you very much for reading me.
See you soon!

Inspiration with Marivi

Hello everyone again, this atypical summer is over, I am looking forward to it and that in time we truly return to normal.
While we continue scrapping ...

I have two designs to show and I hope you like them.

For the first, I used one of the papers that I liked the most from the collection that comes in the August kit.

I have placed the photo, and I have been adding different ornaments.
With the puffy alphabet I have pasted the title in the bookmark, which I have used as one more page.

In the title I have played with color combining them with enamel dots and stamped words.

In this photo you can see the ornaments in detail ... I have mixed stickers, ephemera, chipboard.

For the second I have used the pieces of paper that I have left over from other designs.

I have cut some strips of paper and I have placed them under the photo, I have sewn them and I have added different elements.

With a stamp I have made a label between the papers, in addition to several ephemera.

I have also used pocket cards to complete the layout.

I wish you a good end of August!

3-to-inspire challenge with angela

Hey friends!
Welcome to the 3-to-inspire challenge, the weekly challenge we host here, on the Citrus Twist Kits blog to inspire you creating a new project. Here are my three prompts for you:

    1 - Make a border frame
    2 - Stamp on chipboard
3 - Create a journaling card using embellishments and stamps

Here is what I came up with!

I created a couple of new pages in my Peony Life Crafted album using August True Stories kit. My layout was inspired by one of the beautiful journaling cards that are in the kit, made of colorful tickets.

I really wanted to use those tickets so, I started fussy cutting every single one. Then, I arranged them along the border of a piece of white card-stock and sticked them in place using foam adhesive. This way I created a decorative frame on the page.

I wrote the journaling with my computer and I printed it on regular copy paper. I cut it to size and I placed it in the middle of the page and of the tickets.
For the title and sub-title of my spread, I used the stamp set from the kit and I stamped it in two different pinks, to match some of the colors of the tickets.
I filled in a gap left from the tickets placement stamping another phrase in pink and adding a couple of enamel dots from last month Citrus Twist kit, Wild At Heart.

For the second prompt, I made it simple. I grabbed one of the chipboard of the kit and I stamped on top of it the word Funny. I used light gray dye ink and then, I sticked the chipboard on my photo. This is just a little something that adds a bit of extra interesting to the project.

The photo I used measures 3 x 4 inch and I inserted it inside a two pockets page protector, Page Protector #2. For the second pocket, I created my own journaling card using a flower die-cut, a chipboard and a label from the label cut apart sheet that comes with the kit.
The phrase around the flower is from This Is Life Stories stamp and, once again, I stamped it using pink ink, while on the label I preferred to stamp in black, to balance the colors.

I hope you liked the layout and hopefully feel inspired by today prompts, I would love to see your projects so, don't forget to share them and tag me and Citrus Twist.

Love, NG

Inspiration with Marivi

Hello everyone again, I hope you are all well.
Today I show you a bit of what you can do with the beautiful August kit  TRUE STORIES .

For this first layout I have used two papers, one of them alone is enough I have only added an ephemera piece with a message.

 .
On the other page I have placed the photo on top of a card and have added some ephemera pieces that combine with the other paper.
To complete it I have added some enamel dots.

For the second project, two blank pages in the first one, only two details, a puffy sticker and a chipboard.

On the other page the photo surrounded by different elements, some pieces of paper, and several ephemera, which I have sewn.

I have also added several puffy stickers and with a stamp I have stamped a message.
Hope you like it, and see you soon!

Layout & Life Crafted álbum with Marivi

Hello everyone again, today a little inspiration with this month's kits.
First a layout, I have used decorations and papers from the Add-on kit

A stitched paper band and an ephemera motif also sewn on top.

The photo in the center with a tag and several more sewn decorations, I have also left the excess thread as one more decoration.

Here you can see in detail how I zig-zag the paper.

At the bottom a strip of paper sewn with a flower and a word.

The following is a double page with a piece of paper from the Life Crafted kit, and the ephemera as decorations.

The other blank page with a phrase stamped and decorated with the butterfly and two enamel dot.

I have glued the flower ephemera on top of each other to create a bit of volume.

And to finish another double page, another paper from the kit where I have pasted the black and white photo.

To contrast the other page I have filled it with color with pieces of ephemera , and the word "photo" with the alphabet included in the Add-kit.

In the photo I have stamped a phrase with a seal from the Wild @ Heart Stamp.

For today I say goodbye, I hope you like it and see you soon.
