English: Recovery image of Jupiter's formerly lost irregular moon S/2003 J 16 (circled), taken by Christian Veillet with the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope's MegaPrime CCD camera on 8 September 2010. The moon was identified by Jacobson et al. (2012) and Ashton et al. (2020). The raw image dataset shown is 1235641p. The moon's location on that date was given by the Natural Satellites Data Center, and can be viewed in the Aladin Sky Atlas. |
