Description
Bahasa Indonesia: "Anak Daro Ketek" adalah sebutan untuk anak perempuan Minang yang memakai pakaiyan layaknya "Anak Daro" (pengantin perempuan) dalam acara kegiatan yang bersangkutan dengan adat Minangkabau seperti pernikahan, pemain tari tradisional atau sekedar pawai baju adat Minangkabau. "Anak Daro Ketek" pada gambar ini merupakan "Anak Daro" yang berperan sebagai pemain tari, seperti tari pasambahan.

Pakaian yang mereka gunakan tidak harus menggunakan pakaian "Suntiang" yang biasanya dipakai oleh pengantin perempuan Minangkabau ketika mereka menikah atau kenduri. "Suntiang" dapat diganti ragam lainnya seperti "Tikuluak Tanduak, Tikuluak Talakuang, Tikuluak Kain Panjang, Salendang Koto Gadang" Atas bentuk kreasi lainnya seperti yang terlihat pada gambar. Selain memakai pakaian layaknya pengantin perempuan "Anak Daro Ketek" biasanya juga membawa sesuatu pada umumnya ketika mereka menjadi pemain tari, seperti "Carano, Bongko atau Katidiang" . Pada gambar ini mereka sedang memegang salah wadah tradisional Minangkabau yang berisi beberapa makanan atau jamuan untuk tamu, benda tersebut dinamakan dengan "Katidiang".

Pewarisan tradisi berpakaian serta fungsinya ini biasanya tidak dilakukan dengan sistem formal, tetapi hanya melalui pengajaran lapangan, anak-anak yang akan dipasangkan pakaian tersebut akan bertanya tentang nama dan kegunaan setiap benda yang akan mereka pakai.
